Guangzhou, December 15 (Cai Minjie Yue Road Construction) Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group released a news on the 15th that after 24.5 hours of continuous operation, the E15 pipe section of the deep and middle channel immersed tube tunnel successfully completed the sinking docking, so far, the project immersed tube tunnel pipe joint installation reached 2929 meters, accounting for 58.2% of the total length of the immersed pipe section (5035 meters).

The deep-middle channel submarine tunnel is the world's first two-way eight-lane steel shell immersed tube tunnel, and the E15 pipe section of the docking is a standard pipe joint, with a length of 165 meters, a width of 65 meters, a height of 10.6 meters, and a weight of about 80,000 tons. Because the E15 pipe section is located in the climbing section of the immersed pipe tunnel, in order to overcome the water depth limitation, the construction team opened a new floating channel on the south side of the installed pipe joint, and carried out the floating operation efficiently and accurately through emergency tugboat command and floating transport time node control. Recently, strong cold air has struck one after another, and the construction team relies on the National Marine Forecast Center to accurately judge and make scientific decisions, and grab the operation window between the two cold air transits.

In the early morning of December 14, the world's first immersed pipe transport security integrated ship "One Voyage Jin'an 1" lifting E15 pipe section set sail by tide. During the floating period, the integrated ship needs to cross-current navigation of more than 1000 meters, the project department of the CCCC No. 1 Navigation Bureau of the Deep-middle Passage relies on intelligent core equipment, and uses the DP power positioning system with functions such as automatic tracking, track correction, automatic ship stabilization, automatic steering, etc., and the E15 pipe section successfully arrives at the installation area at 17:10.

At 4:30 on the 15th, after mooring, settling, pulling and hydraulic crimping and other processes, the E15 pipe joint completed the docking, and at 15:50, the absolute deviation and relative deviation of the installation were in line with the requirements of the design and evaluation standards.

With the joint efforts of the builders, the construction of the immersed tube tunnel of the deep and middle channel has been steadily advanced, and the docking and installation of 19 pipe sections in 32 pipe sections has been completed. Among them, the S09 contract section of the deep-middle channel responsible for the construction of the west side of the immersed tube tunnel exceeded the annual construction task: CCCC No. 1 Aviation Bureau completed the sinking docking of 9 pipe joints, CCCC No. 4 Aviation Bureau is about to complete the pouring prefabrication of more than 260,000 cubic meters and 9 pipe joints, and ccCC Guangdong Aviation Bureau will carry out base trough excavation construction in both east and west directions, and plans to complete the excavation of the E17 pipe section base trough at the end of the month.
