What is history: it is the echo of the past to the future, the reflection of the future on the past. - Hugo
In the history of the Republic of China, the Whampoa Military Academy has the titles of Four Giants, Three Masters, Four Murderers, Eight King Kongs, Thirteen Taibao, and One Hundred and Eight Generals. Some of these people are instructors and some are Whampoa students. At least who do these titles refer to? So, today I will introduce to you, who are the 4 murderers of Huangpu in the history of the Republic of China?
Huangpu Yiyi: Deng Yanda, he is a Hakka family member in Yonghu Township, Huiyang County, and he has an uncle who is the commander of the First Division of the Guangdong Army, "Deng Hao". Both uncles and nephews are high-ranking figures in the Kuomintang. Deng Yanda himself was also talented, and was deeply valued and reused by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Therefore, when the Whampoa Military Academy was founded, Deng Yanda served as deputy director of the coaching department of the Whampoa Military Academy and chief education officer of the Whampoa Military Academy, and the level of the position was only below Chiang Kai-shek.
After the Northern Expedition of the Revolutionary Military Division in Guangzhou, Chiang Kai-shek served as the commander-in-chief of the Northern Expedition. Deng Yanda served as director of the Political Department of the General Headquarters of the National Revolutionary Army. After the Northern Expeditionary Army won the first battle, it occupied a large area of territory south of Wuhan. Deng Yanda was also appointed to the post of director of the Wuhan camp. Although he served as a high-ranking official in the Kuomintang, he did not share the same heart with Chiang Kai-shek and belonged to the Third Party (the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party), also known as the Left Wing of the Kuomintang. Therefore, on November 29, 1931, he was secretly killed by Chiang Kai-shek in Shazigang, outside the Qilin Gate in Nanjing.
Deng Yanda
The Second Murderer of Huangpu: Yun Daiying, a native of Wuhan, Hubei Province, and one of the early leaders of the Communist Party of China. In Hubei Yun Daiying, he successively founded the "Liqun" Book Club and the "Coexistence Society", uniting progressive youth and other activity clubs. He was also one of the leaders of the May Fourth Movement in Hubei, an anti-imperialist and anti-feudal patriotic movement that allowed Marxism to spread in China.
After the establishment of the Whampoa Military Academy, Yun Daiying served as the chief political instructor of the Whampoa Military Academy. However, after Chiang Kai-shek launched a counter-revolutionary incident, Yun Daiying braved his life and sacrifice to participate in the Nanchang Uprising and the Guangzhou Uprising. Since then, he has been responsible for the propaganda work of our Party. Unfortunately, he was arrested in Shanghai in 1930 and killed a year later in Nanjing Prison at the age of 36.
Yun Daiying
Huangpu Three Murderers: Gao Yuhan, a native of Shou County, Anhui Province, studied in Japan in his early years and enrolled in Waseda University. He participated in the anti-Qing activities of the Xinhai Revolution, joined the Party in 1923, and went to Germany to study with Zhang Bojun and others in August of the same year. After returning to China, he founded the Wuhu Special Branch of the Communist Party of China. After the establishment of the Whampoa Military Academy, he served as the chief political instructor of the Whampoa Military Academy.
However, Gao Yuhan had a very good relationship with Mr. Chen Duxiu, and during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he promoted the anti-Japanese resistance as Chen Duxiu's spokesman. Especially after the death of Mr. Chen Duxiu, the aftermath was served by Gao Yuhan to help cook. Since then, he has rarely appeared in public, which is considered to be a retreat. He died in Nanjing in the spring of 1948. Fortunately, I was able to end well, which was better than Deng Yanda and Yun Daiying.
Zhang Zhizhong
The Four Murderers of Huangpu: Zhang Zhizhong, a native of Hongjiayan, Huanglu Town, Chao County (present-day Chaohu City), Anhui Province. Among these four people, Zhang Zhizhong's fame and achievements are relatively large. He was a backbone general of the Huangpu clan, a beloved general of Chiang Kai-shek, and even more a patriot. Although he belonged to Chiang Kai-shek's camp, he gave our Party a lot of help during the eight-year War of Resistance. Even in the later War of Liberation, there was no fight with our army. It should be known that Zhang Zhizhong is a second-level general of Chiang Kai-shek's military clique, and as a senior general, he has not fought with our army, which is rare. I am afraid that there is only one zhang zhizhong in Chiang Kai-shek's camp. He was also known as General of Peace until his death in Beijing in 1969.
