As a noble empress, she had all the glory and wealth, and enjoyed the best food under the heavens, why was her husband Qianlong able to live a long life, but she left the world so early?
Although history does not record the cause of Empress Xiaoxianchun's death, we find the answer from a very famous poem by Qianlong. By the way, Qianlong is a very fond of writing poetry, it is said that he has created tens of thousands of poems in his lifetime, most of the poems are about daily trivia, the level is very mediocre, only more than a hundred have been passed down to this day and are highly praised, and this rare hundred masterpieces have many things Qianlong wrote to the same person, that person is his deceased wife Fu Chashi, that is, the original empress Xiaoxian Chun of the Qianlong Emperor in history.
One of the poems is very famous, he wrote: "Twenty years of concentricity into the passing water, two eyes of blood and tears sprinkled with the east wind." Knowing that he had lost his son and died his mother, why should he have hoped for a dream bear in the first place. The first two sentences are a good expression of Qianlong's thoughts of being cut off, and the words are very moving, and the last two sentences are translated literally to say, if I had the ability to foresee, I knew in advance that the loss of a child would hit the empress so hard and would make her sick, then I would not have had such a heart and mind to have a child.
This poem by Qianlong happens to tell the true cause of the empress's death, and Empress Fucha died not because she was jealous of other concubines, or because Qianlong did not love her depression, but died of sentimentality after the death of her two sons (Yonglian and Yongqing). It should be known that ancient people all paid attention to the inheritance of incense, especially the emperor, did not know how much they wanted a son, as long as the woman did not have children, the status would become precarious, but Qianlong could say that the empress was more important than the son, it seems that the wife does occupy a very important position in his mind. In fact, Empress Fucha's death qianlong was not without responsibility, although he was also very sad after the loss of his son, but he did not experience the pain of being pregnant in October.
Therefore, the degree of sadness was not as profound as that of Empress Fucha, who also had children with other concubines, but Empress Fucha could not. Qianlong thought that the empress could quickly cheer up like him, so he also took her with him during the eastern tour, who knew that the empress Fucha, who was acting completely normally at that time, was actually physically and mentally exhausted and terminally ill, and the rushing and toiling activities of boat climbing made her physical condition worse and worse, and by the time Qianlong realized it, the empress had already passed away.
After the empress's death, Qianlong personally gave her the nickname "Empress Xiaoxianchun", because Empress Fucha died in Texas, and qianlong never visited the city again during the rest of qianlong's life, and the reason was precisely because this place was the place where the empress died, and it was also his sad place.
