The Mongols are one of the ethnic minorities in our country, and they are also a relatively special ethnic group. You may not know that Mongolia is also divided into "Inner Mongolians" and "Outer Mongolians", and there are also certain differences between the language and culture of the two Mongolians. In fact, this phenomenon also starts from ancient culture.
Mongolia was originally actually a whole, but at the end of the Ming Dynasty, because of political factors, Mongolia was divided into three, called "Desert South Mongolia", "Desert West Mongolia", "Desert North Mongolia". And now Inner Mongolia and Outer Mongolia are desert south Mongolia and desert north Mongolia respectively, so where did desert west Mongolia go? At that time, the Western Mongols experienced the migration of Russia and returned to the Qing Dynasty, because of their ambition to expand their territory to the Central Plains, and the Mongols and the Central Plains people at that time got along very badly, and the war between the two countries lasted for three dynasties before it ended completely, starting from Kangxi and ending with Qianlong. However, this war, which lasted for three dynasties, ended in the complete destruction of Western Mongolia.
Mongolia's geographical location is very wide, there are also different dialects, today's Inner Mongolia and Outer Mongolia although the language and culture are different, but their dialects are still in the same region. Inner Mongolia and Outer Mongolia are not too different in spoken language, and there is no obstacle to communication between the residents of the two regions, and the biggest language difference between them is the written language. The written language currently used in Inner Mongolia is the ancient Uyghur Mongolian language, while Outer Mongolia previously used Russian, but through cultural correction, the written language now used in Outer Mongolia is Cyrillic Mongolian.
Mongolia also has a people called Horqin Mongols, which have the oldest language and culture, and the language they use cannot communicate with Outer Mongolia, whether it is spoken or written. The language and culture of Korqin also have the influence of the Manchus, because the relationship between the two ethnic groups is very good, so there is more exchange of cultural traditions between the two ethnic groups. If Mongolia wants to communicate in a unified way, it must use the ancient Uyghur Mongolian language of the Inner Mongolian people, because this is the most formal Mongolian language, which everyone can understand.
Now it seems that a Mongolia can also have such a complex and changeable language and culture, which can highlight the breadth and depth of China's traditional culture. Just from some of the languages and cultures of the Mongols, we can learn a lot about various things before the ancient Chinese dynasties and peoples.
