The 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization has created countless artistic treasures, and cloisonné is particularly dazzling. Although it has a history of only more than 600 years, cloisonné is known as the master of traditional Chinese crafts because of its combination of art, craftsmanship, carving, inlay, glass smelting, metallurgy and other professional technologies.
On January 11, 2022, the first national tour exhibition of "Silk Road Treasures - Copper Tire Filigree Enamel Art Exhibition" sponsored by Beijing Enamel Factory Co., Ltd., funded by the National Art Fund and sponsored by Beijing Enamel Factory Co., Ltd., opened at the second special exhibition hall of Shenzhen Museum.
Cloisonné craftsmanship has gone through different historical periods of the Yuan, Ming, Qing, Republic of China and New China, and at each historical stage, under the influence of social form, economy and culture, cloisonné artworks will also be marked with different historical imprints, showing different or specific artistic styles and artistic characteristics. In the 600 years since its introduction, this rare skill has experienced integration, prosperity, trough, rebirth and development in China, until today's peak, and has become a national heavy weapon connecting China and the world and showing the style of the Chinese nation.
This exhibition will display more than 100 pieces (sets) of cloisonné artworks representing the contemporary production process and level, so that the audience who visit the museum can clearly understand the development and change of cloisonné technology, lead the audience to understand the ancient and modern history of cloisonné, and appreciate the beauty of its craftsmanship at close range.
The national ceremony "same paragraph" is viewed up close
This exhibition sets up a naked exhibition area, the audience can closely watch and touch the cloisonné exhibits, of which the main exhibit 2009 mm "Peace Zun" is also among them, this work is the Chinese arts and crafts master Mr. Qian Meihua in 2009 set half a century of creative essence, with Chinese arts and crafts master Zhong Liansheng, Beijing Arts and Crafts master Li Jing carefully designed, Beijing enamel factory senior technician collective creation completed her final work - "Peace Zun".
The main body of the work is reflected in the peace doves, auspicious flowers and birds of different shapes and colors, setting off the distinct theme of peace, harmony and peace, unique creativity, and high-level meticulous production, which has achieved this masterpiece of cloisonné art, which is "the same" as a national ceremony in 2019.
Two other works in the naked exhibition area are also particularly "eye-catching", one is that on January 18, 2017, the Chinese government presented to the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, and now collected in the cloisonné "Song of Prosperity" bottle at the Palace of nations at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, the pattern of the work is composed of peacocks, peonies, magnolias, peace doves, etc., symbolizing stability, peace and prosperity in traditional Chinese culture.
The classic pattern embellished with the bottle body embodies the integration and symbiosis of Chinese and foreign civilizations, and conveys the concept of inclusiveness, cooperation and win-win in China; another work is called Cloisonné "Battle epidemic Ding", which is a new work completed by Beijing Enamel Factory in 2021, and its decorative theme is selected from the heroic deeds of the national military, police, medical workers and community cadres in the fight against the new crown epidemic under the resolute leadership of the party since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic.
The work adopts a sculptural strong sense of volume color expression, which shows the stability and solemnity of the decorative content, making the momentum of the theme more magnificent, giving people a stronger visual impact and shock. It realizes the perfect integration of craftsmanship, content and theme ideas, and also better practices the innovation of traditional skills to express major contemporary themes. In this way, we can praise the heroes who fought selflessly in various posts during the epidemic prevention and control period.
Cloisonné was exhibited for the first time a hundred years ago
In order to enrich the content of this exhibition, Beijing enamel factory selected four pieces (sets) of cloisonné works from the late Qing Dynasty and early Min dynasty to participate in the exhibition, which are different from the cloisonné in the "low valley" period, the workmanship is particularly delicate, the silk workmanship is exquisite, the color is not as rich as today's cloisonné, but it is unique, elegant and solemn, and it is one of the few cloisonné art works in that historical period. It is reported that before this exhibition, these four pieces (sets) of exhibits have never been displayed to the public, and this time to Shenzhen can also be regarded as the first appearance.
Beijing enamel factory as the only Chinese time-honored brand in the cloisonné industry, but also the first time in Shenzhen to hold such a large-scale cloisonné art special exhibition, in order to let The citizens of Shenzhen better feel the beauty of cloisonné art, the company carefully selected more than 100 pieces of different styles, different periods, each with its own characteristics of the "high, fine, sharp" art boutique, such as "Flowers Like a Brocade", "Horse Map", "National Color Tianxiang" are works that have appeared on the news network, "Fushou Zhou InstrumentAlity" It is the only work in the cloisonné industry to win the Chinese Arts and Crafts Hundred Flowers Golden Cup Award, in addition to the "War Epidemic 2020 Series" works of Beijing Enamel Factory, which pursues the ultimate development of enamel art, and the latest innovative enamel watches are also exhibited at the same time.
The exhibition not only allows visitors to experience the charm of the colorful cloisonné intangible cultural heritage and modern life at close range, but also makes the cloisonné intangible cultural heritage deeply imprinted in the city of Shenzhen, and walks into the lives of friends in Shenzhen with the urban culture, so that more people can recognize the beauty of cloisonné skills and the beauty of ingenuity, show the profundity of Chinese national culture, and broaden new ideas for the inheritance, protection, development and utilization of intangible cultural heritage.
