New York: Knox is happy that he was traded

According to The New York Post reporter Marc Berman, he was told that Knox was happy to be traded, and Knox said that joining the Eagles brought him closer to his hometown.

In a previous deal, the Knicks sent out a 2022 protected first-round pick and Knox moved from the Hawks back to Reddish, Solomon Hill and the 2025 second-round pick.

Knox was born in Tampa, Florida, on the border with Georgia, where Atlanta is located.

So far this season, Knox has played 13 games for the Knicks, all of whom are substitutes, averaging 8.5 minutes per game, 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds, and shooting 35.7% from three-point range.
