After the end of World War II, Germany was divided into East and West Germany, and although the German people did not yet know what the consequences of this change would represent, political sensitivity had begun to knock everyone's nerves. Train searches for pedestrians have begun to become harsh, and different parties are attacking each other, all of which confuses curious students and arouses their determination to find the truth.
Students in East Germany got together and formed a reconnaissance squad, and they listened to West German radio at Edgar's home and learned that the "riots of the rioters" advertised by East Germany were actually the struggle of liberals. Under the government's bloody repression, the protesters were ruthlessly persecuted.
The students who found out the truth began to have mixed feelings, and they did not understand why the state wanted to kill people of free will. The hot-blooded children decided to observe a two-minute silence in history class to protest the absurd tyranny of the country. However, the history teacher was angered by the children and reported the matter to the school department, and in such a sensitive situation, the local government immediately stepped in to investigate.
When the government officials conducted a one-on-one investigation, the students realized the seriousness of the matter, so they agreed to keep each other secret, and the unified reply was: silent mourning of a dead star. However, the matter did not settle down, and an official investigated that the stars in the student's mouth were not dead, the incident was further aggravated, and the student group began to collapse. However, young people who have always maintained a high morale have not fallen into the distortion of human nature.
They kept their mouths shut, and even though the school pressure threatened them that they would not graduate if they did not hand over their leaders, the vast majority of the class still held fast to their beliefs. In the end, Eric, who had a deep disagreement with the group, reported the mastermind, but this is not the conflict, the finishing touch of the plot is that the father of the mastermind is in a high position, and in the end the charge falls on Eric himself.
The student body knew the country was already a cage, with wings of freedom tied to the iron cables of politics. So they decided to flee here and pursue the will of freedom in another place. What is terrible is not the cage of the times, but the inner shackles, young people should have faith, and this reverence for inner morality is the real power.
