A Tesla Supercharger station in South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, has been under construction since October, and while local Tesla users are waiting for all equipment to be installed and ready for operation in the near future, it was revealed that the Site's Tesla charging piles were damaged by some vandals (12 in total).
Foreign netizens shared these photos, these photos show that the charging cable has been cut, the shortest place is even only a few centimeters with the base station, and if these people just sell the copper in the cable, they can only get 60 to 120 yuan from it (if the recycle station collects this cable).
And this is not the only vandalism suffered by the site this week, photos shared by foreign netizens on the forum on Monday showed that some public equipment was also marked with graffiti, and the plastic covers around the charging cables and connectors were also forcibly removed.
As for when this charging station will be able to open, I am afraid that I can only hope that the local staff has enough replacement cables and better maintenance solutions on hand...
