We all know that the labeled endurance of electric vehicles and the actual endurance are not the same. For example, a pure electric car with a nominal endurance of 500 kilometers, under the conditions of urban roads, the actual endurance is about 400 kilometers. On high speeds, there will be less endurance, and even discounts will occur, one of the main reasons is that there is almost no kinetic energy recovery at high speeds.
While the car is driving, if the driver releases the throttle, the vehicle will also slide forward for a long distance. Kinetic energy recovery, simply put, is to recycle the kinetic energy that should be sliding forward, recycle it and convert it into electricity to supplement the battery life. This is why after the starter can be recovered, as long as the throttle is released, even if the brakes are not stepped on, the vehicle will stop quickly. In the urban area, there are many red lights, the road conditions are more complicated, the vehicle will frequently start and stop, after the start can be recovered, the electric vehicle will frequently recover electric energy.
The actual measurement found that when the vehicle accelerated to 30 km / h, the throttle was released in the same position, and it could be seen that the higher the intensity of kinetic energy recovery, the more obvious the effect of speed reduction.
After driving nearly 70 kilometers on the surface road, the mileage of the three vehicles has decreased to varying degrees. In the case of start-up energy recovery, gac AION Y's cruising range dropped by 94 kilometers, Tesla Model 3 dropped by 90 kilometers, and zero-run C11 dropped by 63 kilometers.
Considering that the heat and air conditioning of 25 ° C is turned on throughout the whole process, the mileage consumption of the three vehicles is within a reasonable range, and the apparent mileage consumption of the zero-run C11 is even lower than the actual mileage.
Then, we drove the car to the highway, and the speed was basically maintained at 120 km / h. Affected by the reduction of kinetic energy recovery, high-speed resistance and other factors, the same 70 kilometers, GAC AION Y meter range dropped by 143 kilometers, zero-run C11 dropped by 120 kilometers, Tesla Model 3 dropped by 127 kilometers.
Running high speed on holidays, sometimes encountering traffic jams, vehicles can not drive forward, can only stop in place. At this time, if you turn on air conditioning, music and other functions, it will also consume electricity.
We adjusted the air conditioning of the three vehicles to 25 ° C, and after parking in place for 20 minutes, the mileage of gac AION Y meter was reduced by 5 kilometers, the zero-run C11 was reduced by 4 kilometers, and the Tesla Model 3 was reduced by 4 kilometers. Therefore, the functions of air conditioning and music have little impact on the mileage of pure electric vehicles.
For the high-speed service area charging situation, we also conducted actual measurements. After 20 minutes of charging, the range of gahic AION Y meter increased by 95 kilometers, the zero-run C11 increased by 87 kilometers, and the Tesla Model 3 increased by 99 kilometers. Based on this calculation, if you charge for one hour, you can basically increase the endurance of about 300 kilometers.
There will basically be charging piles in the high-speed service area, but the number varies. Take the service area we tested this time as an example, there are a total of 4 charging piles, if there are more Cars for the New Year, there may be a queue for charging.
After driving 70 kilometers of urban roads and highways through three electric vehicles, we found that pure electric cars are more expensive to run at high speeds in winter, and the real mileage is about 5-60% off the apparent mileage.
