Written by mitchell LaFortune, a former U.S. military intelligence officer, Kandahar focuses on LaFortune's experiences at the Afghan Defense Intelligence Agency during the Snowden leak.
Butler plays Tom Harris, a CIA secret agent working in the Middle East. The leak of an intelligence exposed his secret mission and identity. Trapped in the heart of the enemy, Harris and his interpreter must flee the desert to an evacuation point in Kandahar while also escaping elite special forces.
