Fun gameplay is coming back, and more deep mazes will appear in Final Fantasy XIV (FF14).
Final Fantasy XIV producer Naoki Yoshida didn't elaborate on what the dungeons were or when we'll be able to play these deep mazes, but he did confirm that these wandering adventures will arrive sometime in the 6.0 series patch update, and we expect the first patch to arrive in the next month or two.
At the FF14 Fan Festival in South Korea over the weekend, Yoshida personally confirmed the news, saying that he "learned that there are a lot of people in the world who want more deep mazes, and the team is working to bring back this game".

Final Fantasy XIV is now the most profitable game in Square Enix's RPG series. Yoshida revealed this milestone at the "Endwalker" DLC preview event late last year, confirming that the online game now has more than 24 million players and has actually become the number one MMO game in the world today.
As Ed reported at the time, this was 11 years after the game was originally released and criticized in its initial state. In a chart shared with the media, the game had 4 million registered users in 2015 and then reached 10 million when the third DLC was released in 2017.
Since then, that number has doubled again.
