From March 2nd to 4th, the special performance of Bi Pai Xiaosheng Ding Xiaofrog of Shanghai Yue Theatre was held at Wanping Theatre, in which she not only showed the classic characters of Wang Hu and Tang Bohu, but also met "frog fans" for the first time in the image of Zhou Yu. The identity of the only Bi Pai Xiaosheng in Shanghai Yue Theater makes Ding Xiaofrog unique in the spring fangs of the full court. After graduating from Shengzhou Art School, Ding Xiaofrog returned to his hometown Yueqing Yue Opera Troupe and experienced a period of hardship. Except for the off-season of summer performances, Ding Xiaofrog often needed to perform twice a day, when the accommodation conditions for the countryside performances were not good, and everyone slept on the straw floor at night, and the roof was covered with spider webs.
At the age of 25, Ding Xiaofrog was fortunate to study under Bi Chunfang, the founder of Bi Pai, and also entered the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe as an introduction of talents, which is the main position of the Qi Bi school. Unexpectedly, Ding Xiaofrog's road to Yue opera was not as smooth as imagined, and within a few years, the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe was difficult to sustain, and in order to maintain the normal operation of the troupe, she also went to perform variety shows.
Before the arrival of the millennium, Ding Xiaofrog ushered in new opportunities. Qian Huili heard about her experience and invited her to the Shanghai Yue Theater to try it out. This is not only an introduction of talents, but also an act of genre protection, and the arrival of Ding Xiaofrog has filled the gap in Shangyue's Bipai art. "As long as you can get a true confidant, people's words are not enough." What is the use of fighting for a false name, it is difficult to buy the Three Lives Alliance. Although Qi Bi's classic "Three Laughs" is a light comedy, it conveys a philosophy of life that is confident and free, optimistic and open-minded.
This philosophy of life is also a precious wealth left by Bi Chunfang to Ding Xiaofrog, so that she can not be alarmed in the face of life's ups and downs, in the more popular words now, Ding Xiaofrog is a "Buddhist student". But at the same time, she is also a "righteous student". The appearance of Wang Zhiping, a famous artist of the Wang Sect, on stage, led to a friendship from 20 years ago.
Ding Xiaofrog, who had just entered the Yue Theater, was not familiar with life, and once when he sang "Three Laughs" in the troupe, Wang Zhiping also happened to be sitting on the side. The two people who did not know each other, Ding Xiaofrog's voice, entered Wang Zhiping's ears and into Wang Zhiping's heart, and Wang Zhiping remembered this thick and penetrating voice and remembered this powerful Xiaosheng.
The opportunity came quickly, Wang Zhiping's Yue opera "Butterfly Dream" temporarily needed Xiaosheng to save the scene, and she thought of Ding Xiaofrog for the first time. In this play, Ding Xiaofrog wants to play the protagonist Zhuang Zhou and Chu Wangsun at the same time, spanning Xu Pai and Yin Pai, but only less than a month of preparation time. Wang Zhiping was very determined: "I have a kind of trust in Ding Xiaofrog. ”

Ding Xiaofrog did not live up to this trust, she remembered what the teacher said to her: "An actor is to stand on the stage more, no matter how big the role or small role must be played." Hundreds of steel
The urgency of inheritance weighed heavily on Ding Xiaofrog's heart, and she knew that in addition to inheriting the teacher's classic repertoire, she must also have a new work, so she had a small play "Jiangdong Zhoulang" created for the special scene. When Ding Xiaofrog proposed to play Zhou Yu, everyone said that she was quite bold, not only because Zhou Yu's image had never appeared on the Yue opera stage, but also because this role was very different from all the roles she had portrayed in the past. But she herself said: "Shouldering the responsibility of the inheritance and development of Bipai art, this risk is worth taking!" ”
When choosing to play Xiao Qiao, Ding Xiaofrog thought of the origin of Qi Bi's cooperation, which was inseparable from Fu Quanxiang, the founder of Fu Pai. At that time, Qi Yaxian lacked a partner, and Fu Quanxiang introduced Bi Chunfang in his regiment to her, achieving a good story that Qi Bi surpassed half a century. Therefore, this time Xiao Qiao was interpreted by Fu Pai Hua Dan Qiu Danli, and the two hit it off immediately, continuing the good story of Bi and Fu.

Over the years, because there is no Qipai Huadan in Shangyue, Ding Xiaofrog has not had a fixed partner, sometimes playing with Wang Pai, and sometimes Shangyue will invite Qipai actors to cooperate with her, such as this "Wang Tiger Snatching Relatives" clip, which is performed by Ding Xiaofrog and Fu Xingwen, the daughter of Qi Yaxian.
In 2015, under the witness of Bi Chunfang, Ding Xiaofrog founded the public welfare Yue Opera Inheritance Organization - Xujiahui Hanyue Children's Yue Opera Troupe, which is committed to cultivating the next generation of "Xiaoyue people". On the stage of this special session, this group of Xiaoyue opera fans also took the stage to sing the classic opera skewers of Bi Pai, a newly created Yue song "The Angel of Laughter - Bi Chunfang", so that the laughter brought by Bi Pai art remained in the hearts of the audience.
