Curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewelry Design at politecnico di Milano and Director of the Jewelry Museum in Vicenza, this exhibition revolves around three themes: time, nature and love. Jewelry art is inextricably linked to time, and jewelry creation strikes a balance between timeless tradition and transient fashion. The exhibition fully expresses the characteristics of the 20th century, recreating the fascinating power of fine jewelry works through the fusion of timeless aesthetic values and changeable trends.

The curators used the Italian writer Italo Calvino's Memorandum of Literature for the New Millennium as a source of inspiration for the curation, drawing important concepts from it to illustrate the inextricable connection between the family's fine jewelry works and time.

The first part of the exhibition, titled "Time", stretches over 10 exhibition halls, focusing on the representative characteristics of the 20th century: the first exhibition hall pays tribute to Paris, followed by the curatorial themes of distant civilizations and calvino's five values proposed in the book: "light", "fast", "obvious", "quasi" and "complicated"; other exhibition halls highlight the intersection of jewelry and other artistic fields, including dance, haute couture and architecture, where visitors can explore Van Cleef & Arpels' pursuit of artistic beauty for more than 100 years.
