In fact, there have been rumors about Didi's car for a long time, but this time the information is more specific.
According to the media report, Didi has formulated a clear car-making plan - "Da Vinci". The plan will be officially announced in June this year, and will strive to deliver new cars in June next year, and the current car construction team size is about 1,700 people.
In terms of production and manufacturing, Didi may acquire a factory with car manufacturing qualifications and capabilities, and the tentative target is the factory located in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, after the acquisition of the factory, Didi will obtain independent research and development, production and manufacturing qualifications.
According to public information, Guoji Zhijun was founded in 2017, and in August 2019, the company's first mass-produced SUV model, the GX5, rolled off the production line, and then launched two models, GC1 and GC2. The former is a compact SUV, priced at about 110,000 yuan; the latter is two mini cars, both priced at less than 100,000 yuan.
