Square Enix registers a new trademark for the Royal Knights, and classics are expected to be revived

According to the list of newly registered trademarks released in Japan today, Square Enix registered the trademark "Tactics Ogre: Reborn" on March 31, which means that the series has a chance to re-emerge.

Ogre Battle was a well-known early strategy role-playing game created by Yasumi Matsuno and first released in 1993, while the series is best known as Tactics Ogre, which previously launched a ported version of Royal Knights: Wheel of Fate on PSP.

As for the newly trademarked work, foreign media speculated that it was a high-resolution version of Knights Royale 2, due to the fact that NVIDIA GeForce NOW was partially cracked and a list of unleased games was leaked, including a game called "Tactics Ogre Remaster".
