The 4th "Third Eye to See China" International Short Video Competition 2022 was launched in Beijing on April 26.
Gao Anming, deputy director and editor-in-chief of CIPG, said that the "Third Eye to See China" international short video competition is an innovative embodiment of CIPG's more than 70 years of experience in foreign communication. In this competition, CIPG will join hands with the Publicity Department of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee to look forward to telling the story of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games with more diversified perspectives and richer presentation methods, telling a credible, lovely and respectable good story of China, and making greater contributions to promoting Cultural Exchanges between China and foreign countries and promoting the development and progress of civilization.
Huang Huilin, senior professor of Beijing Normal University and dean of the Chinese Culture International Communication Research Institute, said that the "Third Eye to See China" international short video competition emphasizes "third-party perspective and international vision", and the Chinese Culture International Communication Research Institute advocates "third pole culture", all in order to make Chinese culture understand and accepted by more people in the world. The "Third Eye to See China" international short video competition has built an all-media platform for "foreigners shooting China", promoted the communication and exchange of Chinese and foreign creators, and is a wonderful breakthrough in telling Chinese stories to the outside world.
According to reports, the fourth competition has set up an annual special unit "Wonderful Asian Games, Charm Hangzhou", continuing "travel to the world, discover China", "in China, record you and me", "livable city, beautiful countryside", "eat China, eat all over the world" four theme units, for domestic and foreign film and television media units, Chinese and foreign creator teams and individuals, collect multi-theme, multilingual, multi-form Chinese theme short videos. The competition has more than 70 awards and more than 200,000 yuan in prize money, which is committed to contributing to leading and promoting the creation of the industry.
The competition is hosted by CIPG, co-organized by the Publicity Department of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, and hosted by CIPG International Media. It is understood that since 2019, the "Third Eye china" international short video competition has been held for three consecutive sessions. The competition has collected a total of 800,000 works of "Laowai Shooting China", covering more than 50 countries on five continents, nearly 20 languages such as English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Burmese and Vietnamese, and more than 100,000 creative teams.
