I came to Xi boiling village today. Xi boiling village is located in the southwest of Yuexi County, in the north of Changpu Town, 28 kilometers away from the county seat of Yuexi.
The beautiful Tianxian River flows through the village, which is the core area of the Xi boiling beach hot spring and the "first drift in East China" Tianxian River Scenic Area.
I first came to the village department and learned about the general situation of the whole village, the total area of the village is 21 square kilometers, the cultivated land area is 1369 mu, and the mountain farm area is 14906 mu, which is a typical original ecological tourism village. It has jurisdiction over 38 villager groups, 1029 households and 3572 people. Provincial Highway X083 runs through the village, and the road mileage of the village is 48 kilometers, of which 20 kilometers are village-level roads. The coverage rate of online television in the whole village has reached 85%. The main river in the village is 5.5 kilometers long, and there are 2 small type II reservoirs.
The village is rich in tourism resources, abundant in hot and cold water, and has a rafting mileage of 3.5 kilometers in the Tianxian River; the sunrise water volume of Xi boiling beach hot spring reaches 400 cubic meters and a constant temperature of 59 °C; there is also the Huagong Temple of Baiyun Mountain, a thousand-year-old Taoist temple; and a Baiyun Mountain Mountain Resort that integrates fishing, farm stays and leisure by the mountains and waters.
The village has more than 5,000 mu of tea gardens, of which more than 800 mu of standardized asexual tea gardens increase farmers' annual income by more than 3 million yuan; there are more than 1,000 mu of mulberry gardens, with an annual breeding of more than 800 silkworm seeds, and the annual income of silkworm cocoons reaches more than 2 million yuan; there are more than 3,000 mu of bamboo gardens, and the annual income of moso bamboo, bamboo and other related products and Chinese medicinal materials such as poria and tianma is more than 5 million yuan. There are 1,000 acres of mulberry gardens and 1,200 acres of chestnut gardens; there are village-level enterprises such as photovoltaic power plants, cable TV stations and four tea factories, and the village's collective economic income has increased year by year.
The name of the village "Xi Boiling" comes from the place name "Xi Boiling Beach". Legend has it that when Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang was young, he and Wang Tinggui, a disciple of a rich family, accompanied by a swimming stream along the water roar, MaTan, Yuan Jiadu, and waterwheels upstreamed through the Anhui Mountains and Anhui Waters, passing through the xi boiling down the continent, seeing the mountains and spirits of the water, sparkling, and the flowers competing for beauty, the two rose on a whim, plucked the soil into incense, righteous knot jinlan, but unexpectedly Zhu Yuanzhang stepped into the puddle on the beach, suddenly felt a warmth under his feet, and did not feel exclaimed: Brother Wang, this stream is boiling too! Later, Zhu Yuanzhang ascended the throne as emperor, and the people here claimed that this place was given the name "Xi Boiling Beach" by the Son of Heaven, which has been used to this day.
There is another legend about the origin of the name of Xi Boiling Beach: the original name of Xi Boiling Beach is actually called "Chicken Flying Beach". Because there are hot springs on the beach, the water vapor is steaming, and it resembles a soup boiling, and it was renamed Xi Boiling Beach in the 10th year of the Republic of China (1921).
