This seal carving work of Mr. Qi Baishi is the old collection of Lao She and Hu Jieqing. In 2015, it was donated to the National Art Museum of China by their children Shu Ji, Shu Yi, Shu Yu and Shu Li.

Mr. Qi Baishi (1864-1957) was a modern Chinese calligrapher, painter and calligrapher. In 1953, he was elected chairman of the Chinese Artists Association.

Mr. Qi Baishi proclaimed: "I am the first in poetry, second in printing, third in words, and fourth in painting." ＂
