Since the evening of February 1, our district has once again ushered in rain and snow. In order to effectively alleviate the adverse impact of rain and snow on road traffic safety, the Yangling District Urban Management Bureau responded quickly, immediately activated the emergency plan, scientifically dispatched, carefully deployed, and made every effort to do a good job in snow clearing and deicing.
Starting from 5:00 a.m., the district urban management bureau will clear snow and ice on the main roads, sidewalks, overpasses, pedestrian bridges, ramps, park squares, pedestrian streets and important intersections in the urban area by adopting the "manual + mechanical" cleaning mode.
The snow and de-icing work, a total of more than 1,100 people, 11 special vehicles, the use of 13 tons of snow melting agent, at the same time, the organization of special personnel to carry out inspections on urban green seedlings, park squares, eliminate unsafe factors in advance, organize personnel to clean the waterlogged road section after the snow melts, to avoid ice accumulation caused by the drop in temperature.
In the next step, the Yangling District Urban Management Bureau will continue to pay attention to the snow situation, do a good job of snow removal and de-icing as soon as possible, minimize the impact of snow and ice on traffic and travel, and contribute to the beautification of the urban environment and the safety of the city.
