#古人是从什么时候开始赏梅的? #

As early as in "The Book of Songs, Zhaonan, and Plum", there is a chant of "Plum Blossom, in fact, Seven Xi", but plum here refers to "real" rather than "flower".

In the Han Dynasty, there was a song title of "Plum Blossom Falling" in the Yuefu Horizontal Blowing Song. "Yuefu's "Plum Blossom Falling" is a precursor of Mei's 'beginning to smell the world with flowers' since the Wei and Jin dynasties, marking the shift of people's attention to plum from the fruit to the flower color, marking the beginning of an era of flower color appreciation." (Cheng Jie, "Aesthetic Research on Chinese Plum Blossom Culture", p423)

In the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the ornamental value of plum blossoms was widely valued. With the development of ancient style poetry, plum blossoms also entered the pen of poets, began to shine on poetry, and became the aesthetic object of literati.
