The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Macao Port currently has 18 exit lanes and 11 entry lanes. In order to cope with the increasing number of cross-boundary vehicles, continue to improve the efficiency and safety of customs clearance at the entry lane of the Port, and provide convenient inspection services for passengers, the Inspection and Release Hall for Light Passenger Vehicles in the Arrival Lane of the Macao Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will be opened from 3pm on 15 April 2024.

The on-board inspection hall is equipped with a visa room, 2 manual inspection channels and a customs inspection room, which operates 24 hours a day, and the current on-board customs clearance measures at the port will continue to be maintained (see Note). Foreign passengers who do not meet the requirements for accompanying the vehicle, persons required for immigration clearance, and passengers instructed by the authorities to get off the vehicle for customs clearance during peak inbound traffic (except for those who need assistance) should go to the inspection and release hall of the accompanying personnel to go through the formalities.

Drivers and passengers are advised to pay attention to the on-site signs and follow the guidance of the staff, and passengers who get off the bus should go to the inspection hall along the crosswalk in an orderly manner to go through immigration formalities and board the bus at the boarding area.

Note: Passengers who can travel on board at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Entry-Exit Station Lane include diplomatic courtesy officers, residents of the Macao Special Administrative Region, holders of Chinese passports, holders of Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, holders of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Cards, holders of Non-resident Worker's Identification Card, and other minors under the age of 18 (only if not accompanied by an adult).
