Reach a wider audience at popular shopping spots

Malaysia

MGTO resumed its large-scale offline tourism promotion activities in international source markets last year, including Malaysia, and this year returned to Kuala Lumpur for four consecutive days (5-8 July) to host the "Experience Macao" Malaysia Roadshow at the Blue Concourse, LG2, at the popular Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. Spanning 4.3 million square feet, the mall is designed in the style of Egyptian architecture and is Malaysia's first themed entertainment and shopping mall. MGTO hopes that the roadshow will reach a wider audience of visitors, thereby attracting more Malaysian residents to come to Macao to experience the "tourism +" element in person.

MGTO, together with the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and six integrated resort and leisure enterprises in Macao, will set up special booths at the roadshow to promote Macao's tourism elements and new tourism facilities, and collaborate with local travel agencies in Malaysia to promote Macao packages at discounted prices. In addition to different photo spots, a variety of roadshow activities will be presented with a variety of roadshow activities, including Malaysian artists, influencers and composers Danny Koo and Hael Husaini, Macao singers To Chun Wai and Giulianna Fellini. The roadshow will feature quizzes, stamp collection and interactive sessions, where you will have a chance to win Macao's signature tourist souvenirs. A grand draw will be held every day to give away the Macau Tourism Prize, with prizes worth more than RM80,000.

The "Tourism + MICE" Promotion Seminar fosters industry collaboration

Macau's "Tourism + MICE" latest product information presentation and business matching session will be held at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (4 July). Through the promotion sessions and business matching sessions, the relationship between the industries of Malaysia and Macao will be further strengthened, and at the same time, the business matching sessions will be provided as a platform for the industry of the two places to exchange and connect, jointly develop market potential, and promote mutual visits among tourists.

MGTO Rio Tinto Southeast Asia

Since the gradual resumption of air connectivity between Macao and other countries and regions last year, MGTO has spared no effort to expand Southeast Asia's visitor source markets, including online and offline promotions, including through social media platforms and influencers, as well as organising roadshows and industry pitches in various international visitor source markets, participating in major international travel fairs and organising study tours to Macao. In the first half of this year, MGTO held large-scale promotional activities in Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand, which were well received. In line with the SAR Government's "1+4" moderately diversified development strategy, MGTO will continue to deepen the cross-sector integration of "tourism +", promote regional tourism co-operation and expand diversified visitor sources.
