With 200 exhibitors from around the world, LUXE PACK Shanghai 2024 will once again bring together high-end and creative packaging suppliers to showcase the latest packaging designs and trends in containers, boxes, design, anti-counterfeiting, materials, smart packaging and other solutions. The fair attracted more than 6,000 industry professionals, most of whom were decision-makers from various sectors of Cosmetics & Perfumes, Jewellery & Watches, Food, Fashion Products & Accessories, Wine & Spirits and other premium brands.

The number "60" not only represents the rotation of minutes and hours, but also represents the change of the century in Chinese culture.

In order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, as the world's leading platform for packaging and innovation cooperation, the 2024 Shanghai International Luxury Packaging Exhibition and Franco-Shang have joined hands with Fashang to showcase the new era of opportunities for cultural exchanges and packaging co-creation between China and France through aroma aesthetics with the theme of "Fragrance Follows Land Zero".

The "Fragrance and Land Zero" theme experience activity was launched

At the site of the "Fragrance Follows Land Zero" theme experience activity, 30 kinds of spices from China and 30 kinds of spices from France were selected by MANE, covering 5 kinds of fragrances: floral, aromatic herb, fruity, woody and spicy, which were placed in 60 small boxes, allowing visitors to smell and experience the fragrance and start a dialogue between Eastern and Western fragrances. With 60 different spice ingredients to represent the basic cultural elements of the two countries, through interactive exchanges, the cooperation is closer, the friendship is more fragrant, and the inheritance and innovation, depth and inclusiveness, integration and symbiosis are demonstrated.

The theme activity of "Fragrance and Land Zero" also created a special commemorative perfume, 3 Chinese fragrances, 3 French fragrances, one end of the perfume bottle is Chinese spice perfume, the other end is French fragrance perfume, the middle of the bottle is a log double-ended bottle cap, printed with "2024 Shanghai International Luxury Packaging Exhibition" and "Fashang" in Chinese and English, with unique shape and novel design, and the outer packaging is made of Chinese red and French blue.

"Between Paris and Shanghai" Cultural Heritage: Sensory Experience Zone

Fashang and the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts set up a sensory experience exhibition of cultural heritage "Between Paris and Shanghai" in the exhibition area to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.

CHERIGAN, a time traveler from Paris in 1929, the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, which originated from the spirit of the Shanghai School of Fine Arts in 1912, and the French design company Fachan, jointly bring visitors a time and space travel experience, allowing people to return to the 1920s in Shanghai and Paris, and feel the exquisite and gorgeous memories of a century.

Fashang exhibited the "SHANGHAI IN MY MIND" poster "Engraved Times" created by Matthieu ROCHETTE-SCHNEIDER, General Manager of Fashang Greater China, which uses art tiles, which condense the historical, present, local, and foreign fragment imagery to evolve into a listener from the past to the future.

The Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts exhibited the "Modern Sea" project brought by the Academy's Centennial Shanghai Design Studio, combining the modern cultural and creative innovative products and packaging designs jointly created by the teachers and students of the academy, bringing an immersive experience of Shanghai in the 20th century to this exhibition, allowing visitors to enter the modern Shanghainese aesthetic world through time and space.
