"A small book, a big task", digging deep into the red past behind the text, evoking the red memory of the revolutionary years among young people. Only in this way can we truly play the role of "inheriting the red gene and continuing the red blood" and nourish the growth of the child's life.

Read 10,000 books, travel 10,000 miles, and make friends from all over the world

In the interactive session, Mr. Xiong Weiwen, Secretary Li Ping and Xiong Zerui respectively asked questions on "how should parents do a good job in children's education in today's era?", "how to do a good job in children's memories and sweet education in the era of peaceful and happy life", and "how should contemporary students aspire to contribute to the country?".

In response, Professor Zhu Hong emphasized that the role of "mother" plays an irreplaceable role in family education. They are not only the primary educators of children, but also the chief guides of children's emotional growth and social development. Teachers in the new era should have a sense of urgency, responsibility, and crisis, encourage teachers to become experts, know what is true and why they are true, and teachers should be lifelong learners. Professor Zhu Hong also put forward three suggestions for the children: read 10,000 books, travel 10,000 miles, make friends from all over the world and repeatedly emphasize the importance of reading, have poetry and books in their belly, and read is to use the lowest cost and take the highest level of growth.

Learning experience

As a front-line Chinese teacher, I am no stranger to the texts mentioned by Professor Zhu Hong, but I do not have an in-depth understanding of the red stories behind the texts. Therefore, whenever the texts of the Red Revolution are mentioned, it is difficult for students to enter the country. Professor Zhu Hong told the red story in simple terms, which not only gave me a more detailed understanding of the red story, but more importantly, a clearer understanding of how to better inherit the red gene with the help of daily teaching work.

- Chinese teacher Wan Si

When Professor Zhu Hong signed the book, he asked, "What subject are you teaching?" I said, "I teach English, but we also use English to build cultural confidence and spread Chinese culture." "The sense of mission of linking the English discipline with the red culture and the world is welded to my heart.

- English teacher He Liu

Professor Zhu Hong's lecture was silent, and everyone was listening attentively, for fear of missing a vivid historical story!

- Class Four (4) Chen Yaqi

In the lecture, Professor Zhu Hong explained to us the famous heroes in modern history, and told the stories behind these heroes very vividly, "Heroes are not without fragility, but they are not defeated by vulnerability", and the plump and three-dimensional characters make us feel more truly the hard-won real life.

- Class Five (1) Fang Yiheng

I am fortunate to have received the book signed by Professor Zhu Hong, and I will take the inspiration and insights given to me by this event, and I am determined to strive to become a person who contributes to the society!

- Class Five (3) Xiong Zerui

Professor Zhu Hong emphasized that as young people in the new era, we have the responsibility and obligation to inherit the red gene and carry forward the red culture! The red gene should not only stay in textbooks, nor should the patriotic spirit be worn out in slogans, and we should pass on these revolutionary spirits and fine traditions through study, practice and other ways, so that they can radiate new vitality and vitality in the new era!

Since the implementation of the school-based curriculum of red culture, our school has made full use of various social resources to carry out various forms of red culture education for students, and strive to cultivate modern citizens with a sense of social responsibility. Through this activity, as educators, we will work hard and move forward bravely, contribute wisdom and create new glory in promoting Chinese-style modernization.
