The names of the 8 stations along the line are determined as: Shanghai Hongqiao (existing), Shanghai Songjiang, Liantang, Suzhou South, Shengze, Huzhou Nanxun, Huzhou East, Huzhou (existing). Among them, Shanghai Songjiang Station was renamed from the existing Songjiang South Station.

The Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake high-speed railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and ends in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.
