04 Do not destroy, dismantle or steal railway facilities and equipment

The theft of railway equipment and facilities, the illegal sale or railway equipment not only poses a great threat to the safety of railway transportation, but also violates the laws of the country.

05 Do not burn wasteland or raise livestock in the safety protection zone of the railway line

Do not graze cattle, sheep, horses and other livestock within 30 meters on both sides of the railway line to prevent damage to equipment and facilities.

The Regulations on the Administration of Railway Safety clearly stipulate that it is forbidden to disrupt the order of railway construction and transportation. It is forbidden to damage or illegally occupy railway facilities and equipment, railway signs and railway land. Walking on the railway, crossing the tracks, climbing over the protective net, etc., can easily cause railway traffic accidents, which will not only affect the safety of railway driving, but also endanger their own life safety.

It is forbidden to carry out the following acts that endanger railway safety:

(1) Illegally intercepting trains or blocking railway transportation;

(2) Disrupting the normal order of railway transport command and dispatch institutions, as well as stations and trains;

(3) Placing or abandoning obstacles on railway lines;

(4) striking the train;

(5) Moving rolling stock on railway lines without authorization, or opening train doors without authorization, or manipulating train emergency braking equipment in violation of regulations;

(6) Dismantling, destroying, or moving railway facilities and equipment, rolling stock accessories, protective facilities, and safety signs without authorization;

(7) Walking, sitting or lying on a railway line, or passing on a railway line without a crossing or pedestrian crossing;

(8) Entering the closed area of the railway line without authorization or passing through the railway bridge or tunnel without pedestrian passages;

(9) Opening or closing the wagon valves and covers of the train without authorization or destroying the sealing state;

(10) Opening the container door in the train without authorization, destroying the box, valve, cover or sealing state;

(11) Loosening, dismantling, or moving the goods in the train without authorization to load reinforcement materials, devices, and equipment;

(12) Drilling, pickpocketing, and jumping;

(13) Throwing debris from the train;

(14) Smoking on EMU trains or in non-smoking areas of other trains;

(15) forcibly boarding a train or forcibly occupying a train by refusing to get off the train;

(16) Impacting, blocking, or occupying passages in and out of the station or waiting areas or platforms.

What is a railway line safety protection zone

Article 27 of the Regulations on the Administration of Railway Safety stipulates that railway line safety protection zones shall be established on both sides of railway lines. The scope of the railway line safety protection zone is as follows: (1) 10 meters for urban high-speed railways, and 8 meters for other railways; (2) 12 meters for high-speed railways in residential areas on the outskirts of cities, and 10 meters for other railways; (3) The high-speed railway in the residential area of villages and towns is 15 meters, and the other railways are 12 meters; (4) 20 meters for high-speed railways in other regions and 15 meters for other railways.
