The theme of the campaign was "Dream Hedges, Habitat Enjoyment". In the venue, the activities were carried out in the form of launching biodiversity surveys, awarding flags to environmental protection volunteers, issuing wildlife protection initiatives, and sharing the results of bird diversity surveys around the river, aiming to rely on the government, society, and the public to jointly carry out biodiversity surveys and protection, and provide basic data for the region to create a harmonious environment between man and nature, and an atmosphere of high-level protection and high-quality development.
Outside the venue, the "Belt Walk" Secret Exploration Orienteering Competition is also in full swing to enhance the enthusiasm, autonomy and interest of public participation.
"Let's start exploring here!" In the Science Museum of the Hedge School, the display board at the entrance asks the "three questions" of biodiversity - why should biodiversity be protected? What does it have to do with me? Why is conservation urgent? These are all to stimulate everyone's interest in visiting, through exhibition panels, specimens, games and other forms of interaction, to present to the public the current status of mainland biodiversity conservation, native biological characteristics, classification, and ongoing actions, etc., calling on the public to adhere to the concept of pollution reduction, carbon reduction, and recycling, accelerate the formation of a green development mode, and protect the earth, our common home for mankind.
In fact, the park itself has been renovated on the basis of the existing trees, and many colorful plants have been introduced into the park, and the colors of the four seasons are distinct. There are more than 1,200 tree species in the colorful forest alone, such as black tree, oak tree, and triangular maple, not to mention the purple and red flowers. In addition, by increasing the food-source plants of the target species, the habitats of amphibians, forest birds, and flower-visiting insects were built, and the ornithophiles such as persimmons, camphor, various begonias, pomegranates, citrus, etc. were also increased. Nectar source plants such as linden, osmanthus, bean pear, etc. There is an ecological island in the middle of the river in the park, which not only reduces human interference, but also serves as a window to show the true beauty of nature.
