The fighting between Israel and Kazakhstan shows no sign of subsiding. Ahead of the talks, Israeli officials revealed that Netanyahu wanted to reach an agreement with Sullivan on the need to continue deeper into Rafah.
After the meeting, the U.S. side issued a statement saying that Sullivan stressed that Israel needs to link military action with political strategy to ensure the lasting defeat of Hamas, the release of all hostages, and a better future for Gaza.
