On June 5, 2024, Professor Hu Xiaoyuan, an expert in Sichuan cuisine culture research, a master of special cooking, and director of the Sichuan Cuisine Food Culture Special Committee of the Sichuan Tourism Society, held the "Fifth Disciple Acceptance Ceremony of Hu Cooking Youdao and Mapo Tofu New Product Launch Conference" at the Hat Box Mountain Resort in Chengdu. Professor Hu Xiaoyuan used to work in the Department of Social and Cultural Teaching and Research of the Party School of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, as deputy director and associate professor, and is an expert judge of intangible cultural heritage in Sichuan Province and a national super-culinary master. Professor Hu Xiaoyuan has made special contributions to the revitalization of Sichuan cuisine to the whole country and the world. He served as a food consultant in the CCTV documentary "A Bite of China" (season 1), and personally starred in the sixth episode of "Mapo Tofu". Since 2015, he has published more than 70 articles on Sichuan cuisine in the magazine "Hu Cooking", and has published more than 70 articles on Sichuan cuisine. He has published monographs such as "Chinese Famous Cuisine", "Sichuan Famous Snacks", "Chengdu Famous Snacks", "Wenchuan Earthquake and Sichuan Tourism Reconstruction", published more than 50 papers such as "Cultural Collision of Traditional Cooking and Healthy Diet", and has been invited to participate in the national provincial food expert forum and summit forum for many times, and is also a food consultant hired by China Food News Economic Observer Weekly.

During the ceremony, the whole process follows traditional Chinese etiquette. The disciples bowed to the teacher, read and presented the "Worship Sticker", served tea, and bowed to the teacher. Professor Hu Xiaoyuan added a ruler to his disciples, read out the "Humen Master's Training", and gave the book "Hu Cooking Youdao Essay Collection" in return.
