Located in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Nanping high-speed railway connects the capital Nanning City and the Sino-Vietnamese border port city Pingxiang City, with a total length of 201 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, divided into two sections from Nanning to Chongzuo and Chongzuo to Pingxiang, of which the Nanning to Chongzuo section has been put into operation on December 5, 2022.
The section from Chongzuo to Pingxiang under construction is about 80 kilometers long, and 3 new stations are built, namely Pingxiang East Station, Longzhou Station and Ningming East Station. The form of the station building is all line side down type, two floors above ground, one floor underground, the main body of the station building is a reinforced concrete frame structure, and the roof of the waiting hall of the station building is a reinforced grid structure.

Pingxiang East Station

Pingxiang East Railway Station is located in the east side of Pumiao Village in the northeast of Pingxiang City, Guangxi, with an area of about 8,000 square meters, and the scale of the station is 3 sets and 5 lines, which can accommodate up to 1,100 people waiting for trains. The design of the station building incorporates regional cultural elements, and the façade refers to the image of the Friendship Gate, implying "an open city, Xiongguan in southern Xinjiang".
The eaves of the station house extract the multi-storey building form of Friendship Pass, which not only shows the traditional architectural characteristics, but also highlights the majesty of the station building in the border area; In the façade modeling, the cascading straight line shape is adopted, which not only sets off the momentum of the roof, but also does not lose the modern and simple style.
Longzhou Station

Longzhou Station is located at the edge of the built-up area in the south of Longzhou County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi, with an area of about 8,000 square meters, and the scale of the station is 2 sets and 4 lines, which can accommodate up to 800 people waiting for the train. The façade of the station building takes traditional houses as the main architectural form, restores the natural appearance of Longzhou in multiple forms, and highlights the pleasant and livable characteristics of Longzhou.
The roof is mainly in the form of lamination, which helps with drainage. The main façade is mainly in the form of wooden grilles, which restores the rhythmic beauty of the overlapping virtual and real multi-grilles of traditional houses. The interior decoration design strengthens the regionality and integrity of the space, and the exterior of the building follows the simple lines, and the overall building and interior decoration style are harmonious and unified.
Ningming East Station

Ningming East Railway Station is located in Tianxi Town, northeast of Ningming County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi, with an area of about 5,000 square meters, and a station scale of 2 sets and 4 lines, which can accommodate up to 400 people waiting for trains. Ningming Luoyue culture is the symbiosis of Zhuang culture, Lingnan ethnic culture and Southeast Asian ethnic culture, with many regional characteristic buildings, and Ningming East Railway Station is mainly designed and built by absorbing the architectural style of Qianshan Academy.
The space on both sides of the façade of the station building cleverly uses the form of book stacking, combines the characteristics of the high-speed rail station, inherits the regional architectural culture, and adopts the techniques of falling, stacking, and combining virtual and real, so as to express the new appearance of Ningming East Station in a clear, concise and atmospheric manner.
The Chongping section of the high-speed railway passes through the border town of Longzhou County, the "southern gate of the motherland" Pingxiang City and other border areas, up to now, the roadbed earthwork is 98.86% complete, the bridge is 92.85% complete, and the tunnel is 97% complete. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, the Nanping high-speed railway will realize the whole line through operation, and the running time of the train from Nanning to Pingxiang will only take more than 1 hour, forming a new important international transportation channel from China to ASEAN, which is of great significance for improving the border transportation infrastructure, enhancing the level of interconnection between Guangxi and Southeast Asia and other regions, helping Guangxi to integrate into the "Belt and Road", and accelerating the construction of a new land-sea corridor in the west.
