The German company Hase Bicycle recently unveiled what is said to be "the most ergonomic recumbent electric tricycle ever", the Kettwiesel One. This car should be mainly for elderly travelers, and a more comfortable sitting position will provide a lot of convenience for the elderly to travel.
In terms of performance, the Kettwiesel One is equipped with a Shimano mid-mounted motor paired with a 504Wh battery and a Nexus 8-speed internal-shift hub for a maximum of 25km/h. In addition, there is a more dynamic Plus version to choose from. Three 20-inch Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres are used, with mechanical front brakes and hydraulic rear disc brakes.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with an aluminum alloy frame and a telescopic front reach arm, which can adapt to riders of all heights, with a load capacity of up to 140kg. Both the recline angle and the seat itself can be adjusted to suit individual needs, and changing the seat is a two-step process.
In order to make the vehicle more flexible for people of different heights, the vehicle is officially equipped with a MacPherson adjustable suspension system, grips and telescopic fork with 70mm of travel, which is convenient for riders to adjust the tilt, height and front and rear position of the handlebars in daily life and even during riding.
The model is expected to be available for order in August, with prices starting at 7,990 euros, equivalent to about 62,485 yuan.
