The 16th Straits Forum is currently being held in Fujian. During the forum, in a number of supporting activities such as the Cross-Strait Grassroots Governance Forum and the Fujian-Taiwan Township Construction and Innovation Cooperation Forum, guests from both sides of the strait shared their own experiences and conducted in-depth discussions, calling for continued expansion of cross-strait non-governmental exchanges and deepening integrated development.

At the Fujian-Taiwan Township Construction and Township Innovation Cooperation Forum, Qiu Binping, a young man from Taiwan, shared with reporters his story of participating in the rural construction of Longdou Village, Shuibei Town, Shaowu City, Fujian Province.
