At the conference forum on the 19th, Zhou Zhisong, vice president of Xingda Group, made a report on "Opportunities and Challenges Faced by Steel Cord Enterprises in the Wave of Sustainable Development". The report discloses Xingda Group's 2030 sustainable development goals: the proportion of recycled steel in all products will reach more than 40%, the proportion of high-performance products will reach more than 60% of the total sales, the installed capacity of photovoltaic construction will reach 200MW, the heat used in the production process will be self-sufficient, the energy consumption per unit product will be reduced by 26% compared with 2020, the carbon emissions per unit product will be reduced by 42%, and the carbon footprint of all products will be independently verified. At the same time, Zhou Zhisong also demonstrated the relevant processes and applications of Xingda's sustainable materials for the delegates.
On the 20th, Wang Wei, director of the marketing department of Xingda Group, was invited to host the "green and low-carbon" theme forum, and discussed the sustainable development path of the upstream and downstream industries of tires with the participating experts.
