On June 25th, the "Seminar on the Inheritance and Development of Cantonese Opera for Children" was held in Xiqiao Sunshine Baby Kindergarten, a characteristic school of Cantonese opera in Foshan.

In the process of creating a Cantonese opera characteristic school, the kindergarten has specially renovated the campus environment, and the antique pavilion at the entrance of the classroom is decorated with "flying eaves and corners", which is antique. The walls of the school's corridors and corridors are carefully arranged as an "art gallery", which focuses on the children's Cantonese opera-themed paintings and handicrafts, as well as the Cantonese opera costume parts made by the teachers using filigree techniques. Walking into the classroom, there are handicraft tables everywhere, where children can use handmade materials such as clay, coils, and beads to create Cantonese opera headdresses.
"The learning of Cantonese opera needs to create a good atmosphere and bring subtle influence to children." Teacher Meng Xiaomin said that she graduated from Wuzhou Art School with a major in Cantonese opera performance, and was introduced to the school as a professional 12 years ago, taking on the important task of curriculum development, and building a step-by-step curriculum system for children of all ages.
