On July 3rd, the Xianxia Xincun Street Shanghai Opera Troupe will bring you a special performance of classic excerpts of Shanghai Opera in the auditorium of Xianxia Senior High School, and Shanghai Opera lovers are welcome to watch it.
It is understood that the Xianxia Xincun Street Shanghai Opera Troupe was established in September 2010 and now has a total of 25 members, all of whom are community Shanghai Opera lovers. Since the establishment of the Shanghai Opera Troupe, Wang Xingren, a national first-class director, has served as the consultant of the Shanghai Opera Troupe, guiding the Shanghai Opera Troupe in rehearsals. Under his guidance, the Shanghai Opera Troupe has performed a series of realistic works that reflect the humanistic features of the community and eulogize typical characters, such as the large-scale Shanghai Opera "The Mystery of the Crazy Woman" with the theme of anti-corruption and clean government, and "Beautiful Home" and "Xiangyin" and other dramas have been shortlisted for the finals of the previous Pujiang Opera Festival and the "Xiangyin and Song" Shanghai Opera Genre Competition.
For a long time, Xianxia New Village Street has actively carried out various mass cultural activities, and is enthusiastic about building a mass stage for community literature and art lovers to show their own style. The people's opera garden and opera special show have become mass cultural brand projects with a certain influence in the street. The Shanghai Opera Troupe actively pays attention to and participates in the inheritance and development of the art of opera, and brings excellent traditional culture into the daily life of ordinary people through performances.
In this performance, there are "Ludang Tinder", which tells the story of the underground party organizations and the masses in Changshu during the Anti-Japanese War to cover the wounded and sick of the New Fourth Army, and "Husband and Wife Meeting, Write a Suicide Letter" based on the heroic deeds of Wang Xiaohe and the martyrs.
