In the afternoon of the same day, Li Zhijun led a team to inspect the flood control work at the Meixi Lake East Lake Drainage Pumping Station, the culvert gate of the third section of the Xiaoxiang Avenue flood control project, and the underground parking lot of the Lianxiangyuan Community in Dawangshan. The expansion project of Meixi Lake Comprehensive Pumping Station is located between Longwang Port and Meixi Lake, and its function is mainly for drainage, which was started when the water level of Longwang Port affected the drainage of Meixi Lake to ensure the safety of the lake, and the expansion pumping station was completed in July 2021, and the corresponding flood control standard is designed once in 20 years and checked once in 100 years. Li Zhijun carefully understood the operation and management mode and drainage capacity of the pumping station, and required the project to continue to maintain a high degree of vigilance, strengthen equipment management, strict work discipline, strengthen on-duty duty, and make every effort to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
The flood control project of the third section of Xiaoxiang Avenue starts from Baxi Avenue in the north and reaches the boundary of Xiangtan Jiuhua in the south, the project started construction in 2018 and will be completed in 2022, the main construction content is the Xiangjiang River flood control embankment and Baiquan River embankment renovation, the flood control project grade is level 1, which is an important part of Changsha City's "one river and two banks", of which the Xiangjiang River embankment contains four culverts.
