STM32WBA5 multiprotocol radio microcontrollers (MCUs) are powered by a high-performance Arm®Cortex-M33® core and are certified for Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, Zigbee®R23, and OpenThread®1.3. STM32WBA5 offers an ultra-low-power platform that can use digital/analog peripherals from previous products for a wide range of applications, from industrial to smart home and consumer markets.

STM32WLE5 wireless long-range microcontrollers embed powerful ultra-low-power LPWAN radio solutions, including LoRa®, (G)FSK, (G)MSK, and BPSK. The Arm core of this MCU implements a full DSP instruction set and a separate memory protection unit (MPU) to improve the security of the application.

The NUCLEO-WBA55CG Nucleo-64 board simplifies the prototyping process for applications using STM32WBA5 wireless microcontrollers. It supports the connection of an Arduino Uno V3 and features an ST morpho connector that can be easily expanded with a variety of dedicated expansion boards.

The STEVAL-ASTRA1B evaluation board features LoRa, Bluetooth LE, and NFC, a GNSS positioning module, and MEMS sensors including temperature and pressure sensors, accelerometers, and gyroscopes, making it a complete proof-of-concept solution for asset tracking and monitoring.

The STEVAL-PROTEUS1 evaluation board features Bluetooth LE, MEMS sensors, and secure elements for Industry 4.0 applications with condition-based maintenance and predictive maintenance capabilities, including anomaly detection through AI capabilities.

The STM32WBA55G-DK1 Discovery Kit is a complete demonstration and development platform for STM32WBA55CGU7 MCUs that enable a wide variety of applications with features such as low-power communications, time-channel such as the Bluetooth SIG (related to the audio capabilities of Bluetooth LE audio), Matter border routers, and Zigbee.
