Watch dual-protocol chip scheme

Jinxian Technology has recently launched a dual-protocol chip compatible with Apple and Samsung Watches, which is currently the first in the industry to be suitable for both Apple Watch dynamic decoding and Samsung Watch dual-protocol charging, which can provide 2.5W wireless charging for Apple Watch series watches and about 1.5W wireless charging for Samsung watches.

As shown in the figure above, the dual-protocol chip scheme of Jinxian Apple and Samsung Watch is composed of a PCB small board and a wireless charging coil module, which is connected by wires in the middle. The PCB board is soldered with components such as MCU, MOS tube driver, filter capacitor, and inductor.

The wireless charging coil module is mainly wound by litz wire, and a magnet is provided in the middle to adsorb the watch; Since the wireless area magnetism of the Apple Watch and Samsung Watch is just the opposite, adjusting the direction of the magnet in the middle of the charging coil can be adapted to the two brands of watches.

Jinxian wireless charging main control chip 9913

Jinxian Technology has launched a dedicated Apple wireless charging main control chip, which integrates the ARM Cortex-M0+ core and authentication module, with built-in 32KB FLASH and 4KB SRAM, which can realize 2.5W wireless charging for the Apple Watch.

The 9913 main control chip is responsible for the wireless charging function of the watch, and is packaged in an TSSOP20 package, with an LM324 op amp and a MOS tube. The wireless charging solution uses 5V power supply, and the overall volume is the same as that of the watch's wireless charging coil.

The main control chip of the wireless charging solution comes from Jinxian Technology, model 9913, the chip has a built-in 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ core, the maximum working frequency is 48MHz, built-in 32KB FLASH and 4KB SRAM, the chip supports low-power mode, and the chip has PWM drive signal output for driving the wireless charging power tube.

The 9913 also integrates three USART interfaces, an I2C interface and an SPI interface, a serial debug interface, and a buzzer drive output. Each chip has a 96-bit unique ID and is available in a TSSOP package. In addition, the 9913 also integrates an authentication module to communicate through the I2C interface to realize the 2.5W application of the Apple Watch.
