IT Home reported on June 29 that Fujifilm X-S20, X-T5, X-H2S, X-H2 and many other APS-C format mirrorless models using fifth-generation processors have received firmware updates, added Reala Ace film simulation, and fixed autofocus, crash and other problems.
The following is an example of Fujifilm X-S20 (other models are similar):
Firmware Ver.3.00 Update Content:
1. The new Reala Ace Film Simulation option is designed to faithfully reproduce colors and provide crisp tonal gradients for a wide range of subjects and scenes.
2. Autofocus issue: Even if the camera has detected the human eye, it will still focus on other subjects in the frame (this issue will be fixed in a future version)
3. Half-press shutter and metering issues: In rare cases, the user will freeze when pressing the shutter halfway while metering AF Illuminator (this issue will be fixed in a future release)
4. External Recording Issues: In rare cases, when a user connects an external monitor and meets the following setting conditions, the camera may freeze while recording video:
- 电影模式:4K 16:9/59.94P
- 媒体录制设置:H.264/422 MOV
- Stabilization mode (movie): Body stabilization / Combination of optical and digital stabilization
- HDMI Output Settings: Displays HDMI output information
5. Fix other minor issues.
