On June 28, the launching ceremony of the "Love New Meal" of the County Federation of Trade Unions and the 2024 "Summer Cool" condolence activity were held. In recent years, a large number of new forms of business workers, such as food delivery workers, couriers, and online car-hailing drivers, and sanitation workers, have become an important force in promoting urban development and serving grassroots governance. In order to further promote the caring action of the new employment form of workers, the county federation of trade unions on the basis of improving the quality and expanding the coverage of the county's outdoor workers' stations and building a new employment form of labor service center, focusing on the urgent and difficult problems of "difficult and expensive meals" for new employment workers and sanitation workers, and deeply exploring the "love new meal" caring action from the aspects of operation entity, financial guarantee, and service improvement, building a standardized service system of "love new meal", and creating a management and operation model of "party and government support, departmental coordination, and social participation".
During the event, the participating leaders issued the trade union's "Love New Meal" exclusive card to the representatives of new employment workers and sanitation workers. The service location of the trade union's "Love New Meal" is the "Nuanxin Canteen" of the county's new employment form labor service center. The service methods include: new employment workers and sanitation workers can go directly to the location to dine with the trade union's "Love New Meal" card, or order food through the "Love New Meal" mini program (under development) of the County Federation of Trade Unions online, so as to enjoy safe, preferential and high-quality "Love New Meal" conveniently and quickly.
The trade union's "Love New Meal" meal subsidy includes: new employment workers and sanitation workers can enjoy a meal subsidy of 2 yuan per person (lunch and dinner) with the trade union's "Love New Meal" card; Employees with particularly difficult families shall be reported by the trade unions of their respective grass-roots units and reviewed and confirmed by the county federation of trade unions, and shall apply for free "love new meal" cards exclusive to employees in difficulty, and free meals (lunch and dinner) will be provided with the card.
In order to promote the sustainable development of the trade union's "Love New Meal" service project, before that, the County Federation of Trade Unions set up the trade union's "Love New Meal" warm new fund to raise social welfare funds and mobilize caring people from all walks of life to dedicate love. During the event, the organizer commended the caring enterprises that donated to the "Love New Meal" Warm New Fund in the early stage, and issued the "County Federation of Trade Unions" Love New Meal "Love New Meal" Caring Action Donation Proposal to all walks of life.
On the same day, the organizers also launched the 2024 "Trade Union Sends Coolness, Heatstroke Prevention and Health Protection" activity. It aims to carry out the "Send Cool" caring action with the main content of sending cool materials, policy publicity, health training, health examination, and legal rights protection for employees in transportation, logistics, electric power, construction, sanitation, public security, fire protection and other industries and high-temperature workplaces with productive heat sources operating in the open air in summer, as well as new employment forms such as truck drivers, online car-hailing drivers, couriers, and takeaway delivery workers.
During the event, the participating leaders visited and condoled 100 sanitation workers, courier boys, takeaway delivery workers, online car-hailing drivers, new employment workers and representatives of sanitation workers, and sent them heatstroke prevention and cooling items worth more than 100 yuan. The leaders attending the meeting also went deep into Putian Taichuang Agricultural Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. to visit the construction of trade union service positions such as the home of workers of Taiwan enterprises and the library of workers, and expressed their condolences to the employees of Taiwan enterprises.
