Palindromic poems are poems that are read backwards and backwards into sentences.
1. Wu Jiangxue, a talented woman in the Qing Dynasty, is good at palindromic poetry, which is extremely ingenious and magical.
Take a look at her poems of the four seasons, each with ten words, and when you read it, you should first read it positively, then read it back, and then read it backwards:
Spring Scenery Poem: The warbler cries on the shore and the willows make the spring clear night and the moon is bright
Xia Jingshi: Xianglian blue water is cool and the summer is long
Autumn Scenery Poem: The shallow water flow of the autumn river Chuyan Su sandbank
Winter Scene Poem: The red furnace penetrates the charcoal and scorches the cold wind to resist the midwinter
It reads like this:
Spring Scenery Poem (Warbler Crying Shore Willow Lane Spring Clear Night Moonlight)
The warbler cries on the shore and the willows make the spring clear, and the willows make the spring clear and the moon is bright at night. The bright moon night is sunny in the spring and the willows are in the willows, and the willows are crying in the spring.

The fragrant lotus is clear and the water is cool, and the water is cool and the summer is long. The long summer breeze moves the water, and the cool breeze moves the water with the fragrance of blue lotus.

Yongkang City West Street (now Songshi Road) commemorates Wu Jiangxue's martyr's shrine
In 1674, Geng Jingzhong rebelled in Fujian, and sent his troops to march Xu Shangchao into Zhejiang, and the troops went to Yongkang, Xu Shangchao threatened that "only by sacrificing Jiangxue can Yongkang be exempted from the massacre of Yongkang", Wu Jiangxue fell into the stream and committed suicide.
2. The most famous palindromic poem in ancient China was written by Su Hui, a talented woman in the pre-Qin period.
Su Hui, from "The Biography of the Bamboo Tree Painting of the Evening Laughing Hall"
Legend has it that Su Hui married Dou Tao at the age of 16 in Qinzhou (now Tianshui, Gansu Province). Dou Tao was convicted of Fu Jian and moved to Shazhou (present-day Dunhuang, Gansu) for exile. Su Hui's palindromic poem was written in memory of her husband. Fu Jian was deeply moved after seeing it and reinstated Dou Taoguan.
Li Bai once wrote a poem "Boudoir Love" to commemorate Su Hui:
《Passion》
The yellow bird sits in sorrow,
Who climbs more green poplars.
Brocade heart grass,
Pick up the light and be teary.
Wu Zetian named Su Hui's palindromic poem "Xuanji Tu" and personally wrote a preface for it.
"Xuanji Picture"
The picture above is a palindromic poem written by Su Hui, with a total of 840 words, and the word "heart" in the middle does not exist in the original picture, which was added by later generations.
Li Ruzhen of the Qing Dynasty embedded this "Xuanji Picture" in his novel "Mirror Flowers", and when I read this novel, I spent an afternoon dismantling the upper right corner and unraveling nearly 50 poems. Later generations have solved a total of 7,958 poems on this "Xuanji Map".
There is also a 112-character version of this "Xuanji Picture", which is also very subtle.
