On June 28, Hantai District successfully held a literary and artistic performance to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 10th anniversary of the founding of Hantai District University for the Aged at the Municipal Cultural Center. Carry forward the great spirit of party building, review the glorious history of the party, further display the teaching achievements of all teachers and students for the 10th anniversary, and show the good spiritual outlook of the elderly friends in the new era. Chen Lincun, the second-level researcher of the District Party Committee, Hu Bin, deputy director of the Veteran Cadres Bureau of the Municipal Party Committee, and Tang Furong, director of the Municipal Veteran Cadres Activity Center (President of the Municipal University for the Elderly), participated in the event.
Before the start of the performance, all party members solemnly swore under the party flag to relive the passionate faith in their hearts. The performance officially kicked off in the opening dance "Don't Forget the Original Heart", with more than 10 programs with rich themes, such as scene recitation "Dialogue Through Time and Space" and small chorus "As Wished", dance "Yellow River Water Passes Through My House", collective recitation "If You Want to Write Hanzhong", song and dance "China in the Lights", chorus "Yearning" and "School Song" joint singing, etc., which expressed the students' infinite praise and reverence for the party, and fully demonstrated the students' healthy and happy spirit.
At the event site, solo singing, chorus, dance, cheongsam show, poetry recitation, yoga, calligraphy performance and other programs were brilliant and dizzying, bringing a colorful visual feast to the audience. The whole performance was written, directed and performed by the teachers and students of the University for the Elderly, which not only showed the good spirit of the elderly students who were high-spirited and enterprising, but also expressed the joy of the elderly in the new era of socialism praising the new changes in their hometown and loving the new look of their hometown.
