IT Home reported on July 1 that according to the official news of Changan Automobile, Qiyuan E07, Deep Blue L07, AVATR 07 and other models will be launched in the second half of this year, and the investment cooperation project with Huawei is being actively promoted, and the final transaction documents are expected to be signed no later than August 31.
Changan's Qiyuan E07 was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year and opened blind bookings, touting it as "the world's first mass-produced variable new car", which will be delivered by the fourth quarter of 2024. The car is based on Changan's latest SDA platform architecture, which is officially positioned as a "pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle", with a large sloping fastback shape at the tail, and a rear dome that can be switched from SUV to pickup.
The dark blue L07 has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with a length, width and height of 4875/1890/1480mm and a wheelbase of 2900mm. Deep Blue official also revealed that the new car will have "in-depth cooperation" with Huawei, claiming to "take intelligent technology as the core to renew the intelligent driving experience for users and lead the future of travel".
The official picture of AVATR 07 has also been announced, the new car continues the family design style, the overall shape is more rounded, the front face is equipped with a "C" shaped daytime running light strip, the roof position is equipped with lidar, the side of the body is equipped with electronic rearview mirrors, and the hidden door handle design is adopted. The new car adopts the same cockpit design as AVATR 12, equipped with an integrated ultra-long "fish screen" and a large horizontal central control screen to provide users with entertainment functions such as audio and video.
According to a previous report by IT House, on November 25, 2023, Changan Automobile and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a "Memorandum of Investment Cooperation", Huawei intends to establish a company engaged in the research and development, design, production, sales and service of automotive intelligent systems and component solutions, and Changan Automobile Company intends to invest in the target company and carry out strategic cooperation.
On January 16, 2024, Huawei completed the registration of the target company, which mainly includes automotive intelligent driving solutions, automotive intelligent cockpits, intelligent vehicle digital platforms, intelligent vehicle clouds, AR-HUDs, and intelligent lights.
