From June 26th to 30th, the 8th China-Eurasia Expo was held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Urumqi.
During the expo, an architectural exhibition area with the theme of "Smart Silk Road and Building the Future" was set up, aiming to give full play to Xinjiang's unique geographical advantages as a bridgehead for opening up and cooperation with Central Asian countries, and deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the field of urban construction and construction.

The "Blue Power, Green Development" section mainly introduces the reform and development process, engineering construction achievements, and "going out" development achievements of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau. From being based in China to deeply cultivating overseas, China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau has actively served the domestic and international dual circulation, and has undertaken a number of high, large, special, new and emergency engineering projects, with a business footprint covering 51 countries and regions, and interpreting the great practice of building a community with a shared future for mankind with the spirit of craftsmanship and lean quality.
The "Smart Construction of the Silk Road, Building the World" section focuses on the achievements of China Construction Eighth Bureau in promoting intelligent, industrialized, technological and green development, and empowering the development of new productive forces with advanced science and technology, focusing on the advanced technology and intelligent equipment such as the "Tiangong Kaiwu" intelligent manufacturing system, intelligent operation platform, intelligent assembly bridge making machine, wall-climbing elastic wave detection robot, ground penetrating radar robot and self-propelled machine vision measurement robot.
The "Connecting the Eight Wildernesses, Vertically Running Through the Five Continents" section showcases the core concept of "global perspective, all-factor co-ordination, full-chain integration, and full-cycle service" throughout the whole process of "planning, investment, construction and operation", and provides global customers with "integration of planning, investment, construction and operation" solutions and high-quality urban development products, mainly introducing the central business district project of Egypt's new administrative capital, the Hangzhou Asian Games Hall 3 project and the Xi'an Happy Forest Belt project.
The "Why China, Beautiful Architecture" section introduces the "Zhaizi China" to "Why China", from witnessing the beauty to the beauty of architecture, and the Eighth Bureau of Chinese Construction has always taken "expanding the space of happiness" as its mission.
A tenon and a tenon, a brick and a tile, from the original intention, pay tribute to ingenuity. The section of "Mortise and Tenon Huazhang, Building the Future" shows the major and influential representative projects of China Construction Eighth Bureau in the construction of the "Belt and Road" countries.
The exhibition area also exhibited the sand table model of the Urumqi International Airport project, showing the overall shape of the terminal project of the Urumqi Airport Reconstruction and Expansion Project. The design of the terminal building is based on the theme of "Tianshan Mountain", and the whole is a hyperboloid surface, and the three undulations of the roof are metaphors for the undulating mountains of Tianshan Mountain, forming a continuous and magnificent scene. The curvilinear skylight reflects the mountain peaks on the continuous roof, symbolizing the Silk Road through the Tian Shan Mountains, and the design respects the local context, combining the majestic atmosphere of the mountains and rivers with the soft and elegant elegance of silk.
Through this exhibition, China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau has demonstrated to the world the extraordinary strength and achievements of enterprises in the field of engineering construction, established broader ties with their counterparts in Central Asian countries, further broadened the road of cooperation with Central Asian countries, and will make greater contributions to building a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
