A few days ago, when I shared my tea drinking experience, I took a picture of my most commonly used Taetea logo bowl, and many tea friends discussed and talked about tea sets. I don't have high requirements for tea sets, and I also hope that they are cheap and practical, but there are leaders at home who occasionally drink some, so some tea sets are better to buy.
However, after comprehensive calculation, the total amount invested in tea sets and various accessories has also increased by several hundred. Some of them are necessary to use every day after buying, and there are a lot of accessories that are basically idle after buying.
Creation of a tea drinking area in the home
The complexity or simplicity of the tea drinking area varies from person to person, my house did not have a separate tea drinking area at the beginning of the renovation, and after wanting to drink a lot of tea and stock up on tea, I bought a tea sideboard on the basis of the square coffee table in the living room.
The tea set that is frequently used in daily life is placed on the coffee table, and the sideboard is placed on the countertop to place boiling water appliances and tea sets that are not commonly used. There are multiple layers of space under the stage to store tea, water, and if I need it, I can also use water at the bottom with electrical appliances. But I often use about 5L of bottled water, and I feel that the water on the bottom always has to be changed, so I don't take it.
The coffee table in the living room is generally matched by families, so I won't say much here. I also perfectly hide the power cord of the electrical appliances in this sideboard, the overall look is very good, I recommend the design of the tea sideboard at home in the case of reserved power supply, the electrical appliances are convenient to use, and they can be used at any time.
Tea appliances - kettle, tea maker
The most basic electrical appliance is a kettle, or a health kettle. Nowadays, the electrical appliances with various tea tables are of universal size, and they are generally designed with 1 machine and 2 positions. If you don't have a tea table, pay for a kettle; If there is a tea table, it is recommended to have a set of 1 machine and 2 people, and the aesthetics can be greatly improved.
There are two professional-grade brands of tea appliances among tea lovers, namely Jigu and Jinzao; Yoshiya has a delicate design, but a single pot starts at 500, which I think is too expensive. The design of the golden stove is generally not as good-looking as Yoshigu, but the price is much cheaper, and as an old brand of tea appliances, the reputation is also very good.
The biggest difference between a tea kettle and an ordinary kettle is that it has a long and thick spout, which is convenient for water production and water control, and the boiling water can be accurately controlled to adapt to the temperature required by different teas; There is also a high power and fast speed of boiling water, which satisfies the anxious hearts of tea customers.
I like the design of Jigu very much, and I don't want to spend that money, so I chose to label Zhigao, the advantage is that Jingdong buys, the brand is equivalent to a label, that is, the imitation of Jigu's through mold design, one machine 2 digits, support the bottom of the water, to the hand price of about 300. Because I don't like to drink white tea and ripe pu, I haven't used it since I bought it.
But the machine boils water quickly, the water is stable, and there is no scale left after use, and my wife usually likes to use it to boil boiled water.
If the budget is sufficient, please look at Yoshigu; If you can accept the old-fashioned appearance, there is no problem with boiling water in the golden stove. And after all, this thing is a kettle, there is no big technical content, small brands can buy it, everything according to the budget.
Tea utensils - bowls, glasses
There are a lot of props for making tea. Famous like Yixing purple clay pot, the pot's player-level products, the tip is more expensive than tea.
For the general public, the most suitable tea making tools are gaiwan and glass tea set.
Gaiwan is an absolute sense of tea artifact, the small capacity can well control the number of tea soup, and can freely adjust the hot water temperature, water filling form, steeping time, skilled use after pouring out the tea soup is also very fast, can achieve excellent tea control.
At the same time, the gaiwan is suitable for almost all types of tea, which is a typical one-vessel in the world. And a lot of easy-to-use bowls are not expensive at all, and the small dozens of Dayi bowls are used by many tea lovers because of their acceptable texture and easy soup.
The core point is that the bowl needs to be practiced in use, novices will not grasp and it is easy to burn themselves, and it belongs to the tea utensils with almost no shortcomings.
The most common type of bowl is white porcelain, but there are also glass bowls and various types of porcelain. The glass lid bowl is suitable for brewing green tea, observing the bottom of the leaves, and other color forms of the cover bowl is mainly demanded.
Taetea Gaiwan is worth starting at 20-30 yuan, and it really feels that the weight and soup feel are very suitable when you use more, but it is easy to get dirty, easy to stain, and needs to be cleaned frequently. I already have two Gaiwans in Taetea, both are good, if the follow-up falls, I will buy and stock up again.
Then there is the white porcelain bowl, the high-end products will be called Dehua mutton fat white porcelain, I bought a Beijing brand of this level of bowl, the price is more than 50, which is a grade more expensive than Taetea home. It is true that the porcelain texture is better, it is not easy to leave tea dirt, it is easier to clean, and the shape is more exquisite. But making tea can also be easy to burn.
Finally, it is a Ru kiln style bowl, bought mainly for my wife to look good and take pictures, is in PDD to find a picture, and then in 1688 to read the map, to find Dehua manufacturers to open in 1688 store to buy, the starting price is 50, the overall thick, the print is cute and good-looking. This gaiwan is thick, and it's really not easy to get hot, so you can take it casually. However, I personally don't use it very often, it is too heavy, and I have a subjective feeling, and I prefer the thin tire translucent gaiwan, and I feel that the aroma of tea is high.
I haven't used the high-end bowl myself, I don't think it's necessary to make tea, the glass bowl is also optional, let's talk about the glass tea utensils.
Glass tea sets are generally considered to be suitable for green tea and jasmine tea. Many people like cup brewing, looking at the bottom of green tea leaves is very decompressing, and generally consider drinking half a cup of running to ensure the concentration of tea soup, which is also very suitable for green tea, which is not resistant to brewing. Brew the cup as early as possible to release the aroma of tea.
The most basic thing is to buy a glass, if it is used casually in the office, I think it is good to use it with a handle, and it is completely OK to simply bubble cheap green tea.
To be a little more particular, it is recommended to buy one with glass filter. There are many people who like square glasses with filters at present, and I also claim to be a 76 brand, so that's how I use it. Try to pick cheap, don't pick a brand, the glass really has no flowers. This kind of filtered soup is convenient and can be used with a fair pot to make soup.
I like to use Song pot at home, making tea is good-looking, and it is easier to make soup, which gives full play to the advantages of glassware. Generally, to make green tea, I would consider using a song pot. Jasmine tea, I personally recommend Gaiwan.
Whether it is these bowls or glassware, they are all affordable and have been very easy to use. Those who pay special attention to appearance, materials, and brands are not within the scope of my own tea drinking at this stage.
Supporting tool - tea tray
If you use a gaiwan and a purple clay pot to make tea with utensils such as a fair cup and a master's cup, then the tea tray is a special tool for padding. Especially if you have the habit of washing tea, as well as specially brewing Pu'er, white tea, which is not drunk at the first brew, you need a tea tray even more. The common materials of tea trays are bamboo, ceramic, bakelite, solid wood, and black stone, and these materials will also be matched with each other to form products.
Generally, it is the kind of environment that pursues appearance, decoration and hospitality, and is more suitable for solid wood, bakelite, and black gold stone, which will look more atmospheric, but it generally needs to be matched with special drainage, tea residue barrels and other accessories. My personal point of view, 1-2 people drink tea at home, these large tea trays need to be cleaned, maintained, and need space to build accessories, and they are not tea shops, so the pursuit of practicality is not recommended. The pursuit of gorgeous, generally to the bakelite tea tray is better.
My own most commonly used now is the ceramic tea tray in the Chaoshan area, the water storage is large, does not occupy space, and the tea will not be moldy, the follow-up cleaning is also very simple, it is okay to dry it after washing, and the price is cheap, 1688 and Duoduo can be done on a few dozen pieces, it is really easy to use.
I have used the brand tea tray of bamboo + black gold stone before, not to mention the high price, the black gold stone dyed with tea dirt is not good to wash will change color, and the back of the bamboo material will be moldy if there is water, so I will use it as an ornament and not use it.
There is also a simple idea is to use the pot bearing plate + water bowl to match, it is also a simple and clean ceramic material, and the photo appearance is higher, it is also not expensive, suitable for 1-2 people at home to drink tea, use the pot to support the bowl, the fair cup daily soup, more tea and water poured into the water bowl.
Tea drinking tools - fair cups, master cups
Tea can be drunk directly in a glass cup, or it can be paired with a fair cup (pot) and a master's cup.
The must-have at home is the glass material, I use the Beijing brand, other brands are also OK, the recommended capacity is more than 300cc, the glass is convenient to observe the tea soup, I also have 1 Ruyao fair cup, mainly for good looks. If you like to study and drink tea, you should buy a few more sets of gaiwan and fair cups for comparison and tasting, which can quickly improve the tasting level of tea customers.
At the same time, the fair cup should have a matching tea filter, which can not only help filter some debris, but also can be used with Qi Hong, small green orange and other teas to brew tea with the pouring method, which is also a use of the fair cup.
As for the master cup, it is generally about 100cc, and the cheap ceramic material is about 10 pieces, the main thing is the aesthetic preference of the tea drinker, and the white porcelain master cup is the best to drink tea, and it is also the true color of the tea soup. My family leader and I each use 1, which is almost just enough to divide the amount of the bowl and flush.
Tea miscellaneous parts - electronic scales, tea rules, tea scissors, teaspoons, tea trays, tea needles, tea towels, etc
I basically bought all these miscellaneous items, but out of the electronic scale, most of them were dusty.
The electronic scale can be matched with a gaiwan, a tea rule, and a Song pot to determine the amount of tea, which is a necessary tool for me, such as rock tea, green tea, jasmine tea, and Taiwan oolong all need to be weighed. The Tieguanyin and black tea I drink are mainly individually packaged.
Tea is not used to drink tea now, just use the bowl to weigh the tea, and pour the tea is troublesome. It's more suitable for entertaining friends and taking pictures, and it's useless to drink it yourself.
Tea scissors can be replaced by some household scissors, but the small tea scissors are still more convenient to use, and can be bought by PDD for a few dollars.
Teaspoons, tea trays, and tea needles are the ones I bought to eat ashes, and if you drink Pu'er tea, old white tea, this kind of pressed tea may use these tools more frequently, and you can consider buying them according to your needs.
As for the tea towel, I don't think it's very practical, if it's not for taking pictures or pretending, then napkins and rags are easy to use.
Generally speaking, these things are not necessities, the practical attributes can not be compared to the above, there are many similar tea sets, everyone depends on each person's own use needs.
Others - water for brewing tea with sodium percarbonate
Tea water, I have a reverse osmosis water purifier at home, generally drink cheap green tea, I use the water of the water purifier, pay a water fee, almost 0 cost, I use cheap Beijing, very good.
Then drink some good tea, it is inevitable to feel that it is a bit bad to use reverse osmosis water, generally I will stock up on bottled water during promotions, Shanghai here to buy cheap mainly Cestbon pure water and Robust's mineral water, the price is affordable, less than 1 piece of 1L is a good price. If you develop the habit of drinking tea, you must stock up on water.
The last is to clean the tea set, there is a product called tea dirt powder, I bought it once, the thief is easy to use, no need to rub, take a basin of water and soak it for a night, the tea dirt is all gone. After careful study, it is sodium percarbonate, when the tea scale powder is expensive, buy sodium percarbonate directly, cheap big bowl, and all kinds of dirt at home can be washed.
