The hotel is located in a small area in front of the main road leading to the beach of Guiones, a small but popular surfing spot. The owners wanted to create a space where young surfers could sit together, share their experiences and enjoy each other's company, but the rooms would be private, and the project needed to make people feel welcome and familiar, with enough distance and privacy for guests to walk into the hotel, and to be isolated from the hustle and bustle of the road

The U-shaped plan of the building is open to the rear space and the woods, with a swimming pool and a courtyard planted with beautiful plants in the center, and the large pool is the lungs and main landscape point of the public space.

The narrow side of the site is adjacent to the road and is designed with three different entrances. The attractive main entrance rises half a floor to lead guests to the reception area and public living spaces on the second floor, all of which are open to nature and enjoy the views and free flow of wind. In the social area, people have a more expansive view towards the rear proximity to the nature reserve, the canopy and the overlooking road. By being half a level above the road and using a sturdy fence, guests in the hotel are able to look down on the road while people standing on the road cannot see the private hotel. The same concept is used in the design of rooms above the ground floor.

The building is built using masonry, the most common construction technique in the region, all corners and every edge are rounded, contrasting timbers are used in a natural and concise way, adding soft colors and natural textures, and most of the carpentry work is done by local artisans. Other materials such as rattan, tile, and stone are used to emphasize the decoration. The design combines a solid geometric form with attractive small openings or wooden windows, contrasting with the open spaces around or above the solid building form that form traffic and public living areas. The beauty and appeal of the building lies in the artistic manipulation of balanced forms, the simplicity of architectural elements and the careful craftsmanship of carpentry components.

The second entrance is more secluded and discreet, a few steps lower than the road, for guests returning from the beach to rinse off, store their surfboards, jump directly into the pool or from here back to the rooms near the pool. The service entrance is the most secluded entrance in the building, it is located in an alley that leads to service spaces and private apartments.
