At the beginning of the activity, the volunteers led the residents to learn the art of face painting, introduced the culture of Peking Opera and the related knowledge of face painting, so that the residents could understand face painting more intuitively and deeply feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture in the study.
Afterwards, volunteers distributed paper, paintbrushes and other materials to everyone, and the residents and children first sketched the outline of their favorite face with a pencil, then set their facial features and add various patterns, and finally colored their faces.
Finally, the volunteers assisted everyone to complete the face painting, guided them to give full play to their imagination, combined the face painting with creativity, painted the characters of Peking Opera Xiaosheng, Wenchen and other military generals, and the colorful face patterns were presented under everyone's pen, and everyone happily showed each other's works, and the atmosphere of the event was very cheerful.
Through this activity, it not only enhanced the hands-on ability of community residents and children, but also allowed them to experience the extraordinary charm of traditional intangible culture more truly, strengthened everyone's knowledge and understanding of intangible cultural heritage, and guided them to better inherit intangible cultural heritage and promote traditional culture.
