Happy summer, a total of "children" growth. In order to let the children spend a fulfilling, interesting and colorful summer vacation, in recent years, the Sino-Korean Street in Laoshan District, Qingdao City, has focused on the needs of children, integrated resources, and opened a "second classroom" with the community as the position, the teenagers as the main body, and the college student volunteers co-built by the school as the main force to light up the children's summer vacation life. This year, the street continued to make efforts to hold a series of activities with rich content and various forms around cultural "two creations", red education, handicraft, interest cultivation, etc., to inject fresh vitality into the "second classroom".
Today, let's walk into the East Korea Xinyue community and see what wonderful moments are in the "second classroom" here~
On the afternoon of July 8th, the "second class" of the East Korea Xinyue Community Summer was officially opened, attracting many children and parents to participate.
At the opening ceremony, the staff introduced the curriculum and teacher allocation of the "Second Classroom" in detail to the students and parents who came to participate in the activity. The course content mainly includes four categories: ideological growth, cultural "two innovations", knowledge popularization, and physical health. The teachers of the special courses are all from the co-construction colleges and co-construction units, and the resident teachers are composed of college students of the "Blue Bird Project".
In order to guide the children to cherish the learning opportunity and learn efficiently, the activity set up an oath link, and the children raised their right fists and solemnly swore under the leadership of the staff, promising to abide by classroom discipline, respect teachers, unite classmates, and study seriously.
Subsequently, the first lesson of the "second classroom" and the first lesson of the cultural "two creations" - the horse spoon face experience class was officially opened. In the class, the teacher introduced the historical background, cultural connotation and production process of the horse spoon mask in detail, and carefully guided the children to hand-draw the horse spoon mask. Color, trace, outline, fill...... With a paintbrush in hand, everyone gives full play to their imagination and concentrates on drawing. After a while, the originally bare horse spoon in his hand became bright.
The success of this experience class not only provided a platform for children to learn and communicate, but also gave them the opportunity to get close to intangible cultural heritage, and promote the cultural "two innovations" to take root in the community. In the next step, the Sino-Korean sub-district will strengthen the liaison with multiple subjects such as co-construction units, universities in the district, and social organizations, gather service resources from all parties, continue to enrich the content and form of the "second classroom", meet the diversified needs of children and parents, and live up to the "trust".
