On July 20th, Mao County held the 6th Maoxian Lily Festival with the theme of "Flowers Bloom in Shangguan and Cool Summer" in the Minjiang Lily Valley Scenic Area of Shangguan Village, Fushun Town, attracting many tourists and local people to enjoy the flowers and scenery together and experience a different summer style.
In the morning, "Shoulder Bell Dance" kicked off the prelude to theatrical performances, and the song "Lilies Bloom", acrobatics "Flying Bricks in the Sky", group dance "Subject 3", Sichuan Opera changing face and spitting fire and other programs were staged in turn, pushing the activity to a climax step by step. With the fragrance of lilies and the refreshing summer breeze and drizzle, it brings the audience a wonderful cultural feast.
The event also commended the demonstration households for improving urban and rural environmental quality, and held a lottery for the 2025 Shangguancun tourist accommodation voucher. During the event, there will also be a "mid-mountain" outdoor hiking and bonfire music theme party.
Shangguan Minjiang Lily Valley Scenic Area is located in Shangguan Village, Fushun Town, Mao County, with an average altitude of 1,500 meters, which is the golden height for summer retreat. At the same time, the village is close to the Maoxian Station of the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway, which is only an hour's drive from Chengdu. At present, it is the season when the flowers in the scenic area are blooming and the climate is suitable.
In recent years, Maoxian County has combined with the local reality, deeply excavated the resources of ethnic culture, agricultural industry, ecological landscape, rural pastoral, etc., relying on the advantages of transportation location, flower resources and the livable environment of the new countryside, and used flowers as the "medium" to build Shangguancun into a flower-themed boutique health tourism village integrating flower sightseeing, farm experience, food tasting, cultural leisure, health and wellness vacation, parent-child amusement and other functions.
