In order to prevent disasters such as strong winds and heavy rain that may be brought about by Typhoon No. 3 "Gemei" this year, the Xiapu Court responded quickly, strengthened the implementation of deployment, and went all out to carry out a large-scale investigation of potential safety hazards before the typhoon, and make various preparations for flood prevention and anti-typhoon.
On July 23, the General Office of the Xiapu Court (Judicial Police Brigade) set up a temporary inspection team to carefully count the reserves of emergency materials for Taiwan and flood control, and carried out a "dragnet" investigation of key areas such as the power distribution room, the "six special and four rooms" of the judicial police brigade, the large terrace on the third floor of the office area, the rooftop on the eighth floor, the computer room, and the underground parking lot. At the same time, it also focused on checking whether the basement dark well drainage system and drainage pipe network are unblocked, whether there are potential safety hazards such as water and electricity switches, doors and windows, and air conditioning outdoor unit hanging, and the external wall tiles and other easy-to-fall items can be checked and corrected immediately to ensure that there are no hidden risks.
In addition, the General Office (Judicial Police Brigade) has also set up an emergency response team for anti-Taiwan flood control, formulated relevant response plans, strictly implemented the duty system, strengthened patrol and prevention efforts, and ensured that it could respond quickly and effectively during the typhoon.
The Xiapu Court will continue to maintain a state of vigilance, earnestly implement the measures to prevent Taiwan and floods, and ensure the safety of the court organs and the people.
